VIII. MAIN BODY:

Isaiah 9:7 (Amplified Bible)

Of the increase of His government and of peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from the [latter] time forth, even forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

Isaiah 9:7 (New King James Version)

Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

A. JESUS's Government: eternal, based on peace, justice and righteousness and upon David's throne.

Psalms 2:8 (Amplified Bible)

Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations as Your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth as Your possession.

Hebrews 2:13 (Amplified Bible)

And again He says, My trust and assured reliance and confident hope shall be fixed in Him. And yet again, Here I am, I and the children whom God has given Me.

Isaiah 8:17-18 (Amplified Bible)

And I will wait for the Lord, Who is hiding His face from the house of Jacob; and I will look for and hope in Him.

Behold, I and the children whom the Lord has given me are signs and wonders [that are to take place] in Israel from the Lord of hosts, Who dwells on Mount Zion.

John 1:12 (Amplified Bible)

But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name—
