JESUS SPEAKS A SECOND TIME FROM THE CROSS

Today shalt thou be with me in paradise

Luke 23:41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.

23:42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.

23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

(1) Today review the dead sentence

Luke 23:41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.

Hebrews 3:7 Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,

3:8 Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

3:9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.

3:10 Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.

3:11 So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)

3:12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

3:13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

My deeds have been evil

My demands have been selfish

My death leaves me with out choice

(2) Today repent of your deadly sins

Luke 23:41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.

Staring death in the face

Straight to hell unless you get saved

Sin has made a fool of you

(3)Today request divine strength

Luke 23:42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.

Call on the right person

Claim the promises

Remove condemnation with full pardon

(4)Today receive the deliverance of the Saviour

Luke 23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

Look to the deliverer

Saved from destruction

Made a lot of difference

(5) Today remember your day of Salvation

Revelation 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

Saw the master die

Stood in paradise delighted

Speaks of before and after death

(6) Today rise in defeat of Satan

1John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Turn from sin

Trust in the Lord

Triumph over your defeated self

(7) Today he is rejoicing in the presence of the Lord

He went with Christ as a witness

Saw the old saints welcome Christ

Now a witness to you getting saved
