JESUS – THERE IS JUST SOMETHING ABOUT THAT NAME!
Imagine trying to distinguish me from the other Six billion people living on planet earth. It is almost an impossible task. There are several identification marks that will help you to locate me!
USA identifies which Country I live in from the other 200 or more Countries.
California identifies which state I live in from the other 50 States.
Yuba City identifies which city I live in from the other cities in California.
My street address and zip code help identify the street and house in which I live.
But there is one more additional mark which identifies me from the other seven people who live at 1605 Bradley Estates Drive, Yuba City, California - USA and that identifying mark is my name.
It is a very specific name. I am Richard Adam Finitzer, Jr. The junior is added so that you will not mistake me from my father.

The Word of God says this about our name:
Prov 22:1 NIV A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold.
Ecc 7:1 NIV A good name is better than fine perfume, and the day of death better than the day of birth.
Names evoke feeling and emotion within us. This can be positive or negative.

It is the NAME, Jesus! Jesus, what a Name!

Greek = Iesous (which is a transliteration of the Hebrew)
Hebrew = Yeshu’a (OT Joshua)
