1-sack of Bit o Honey candy

1 sack of chocolate morsels

1 sack of check mix

Use the bit o honey for bodies, the chocolate morsels for eyes and the brown wafer looking things for wings, and nuclawave them. It only takes a few seconds to get the bit o honey warm enough for the eyes and wings to stick. Then use a jar of real super thick honey.

First ask the kids to each eat one of the "locusts" and to get a finger or two full of honey. -Use your judgement on smaller kids.- Because this is a very thick candy, and the honey is thick. The kids will be pretty much unable to respond. Begin by telling them that they must live on this for the rest of their lives. Note the displeasure on their faces. Then explain that John the Baptist lived on these very things for the sake of furthering God’s kingdom. You can also find a very itch wool blanket for them to see how his clothes might have felt. Finish by simply explaining that thousands of people have forfeited comforts in life for the sake of the Gospel message. I went on to explain that God has a purpose for them as well.
