To show that the LORD JESUS CHRIST made us victorious already thru our faith in JESUS.

IV. TEXT:

Isaiah 8:10 (Amplified Bible)

8:10 Take counsel together [against Judah], but it shall come to nought; speak the word, but it will not stand, for God is with us [Immanuel]!

V. THESIS:

Praise, worship and thank You very much LORD JESUS for You gave us victory through our LORD JESUS, this victory conquers the world, by our faith.

E. Key word: Salvation. Isaiah means "Salvation of Jehovah"

VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. The LORD challenges Assyria to get together and make plans

"Take counsel together [against Judah], but it shall come to nought;"

2 Samuel 15:31 (Amplified Bible)

15:31 David was told, Ahithophel [your counselor] is among the conspirators with Absalom. David said, O Lord, I pray You, turn Ahithophel’s counsel into foolishness.

King David, a man after GOD's own heart knows the WORD of GOD and GOD's Plans so He prayed in line with GOD's WORDS so that Ahithophel's counsels to King Absalom will fail him. And Ahithophel's counsel was contradicted by Hushai.

17:14 Absalom and all the men of Israel said, The counsel of Hushai the Archite is better than that of Ahithophel. For the Lord had ordained to defeat the good counsel of Ahithophel, so that the Lord might bring evil upon Absalom.

B. The LORD guaranteed Assyria's plans will fail because GOD is with Judah
