IV. Turn From Wicked Ways (Repent)
A) Not another “I’m sorry…” repeat
i. An authentic I’m wrong and repent!

iii. Gordon MacDonald, -->Repentance is not basically a religious word. It comes from a culture where people were essentially nomadic and lived in a world with no maps or street signs. It’s easy to get lost walking through the desert. You become aware that the country side is strange. You finally say to yourself, I’m going in the wrong direction. That’s the first act of repentance. The second act of repentance is to go in an alternate direction. It implies that you not only do this but you admit it to your companions.
B) But I’m a Christian!
i. Do you have sin? Real unholiness?
ii. Jesus said to him, "’You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ - Matthew 22:37
iii. Anything Less is SIN!
C) Multitude of Sins we don’t talk about much
i. Sin of Silence
ii. Sins of Omission
iii. Sin of Pride / Anger
iv. Sin of Envy
D) Are you BOUND in the CHAINS of SIN?
E) God does not desire this! He wants to set you free, but you must first TURN AWAY from your sin! You’ve got to get right with God!
F) REPENT and Revival can be a Reality
CONCLUSION: God’s Response is Love

b. More than listens – he HEARS
i. He comprehends, cares, and struggles with you.
ii. He hears your hurt, he wants to help you OVERCOME!

b. REVIVAL = HEALING OF THE LAND
i. Lost Brothers and Sisters coming back to Church

iv. The Land is HEALED – Morality Returns, Lost come in large numbers, the church of Christ GROWS exponentially!
v. God says - Revival can be a Reality
Why did I choose to preach this sermon on a crucial Sunday. One for the church and myself? Because with all of my being, with all of my faith in Jesus Christ, I believe that Revival can be a Reality because God has called us to it. That if the REMNANT will humble themselves, and pray, and seek God’s face, and turn from their wicked ways -
