Summary: The best kind of laughter comes as we learn to wait patiently on God’s promises!

Laugh with me…

Genesis 21:6 Sarah said, "God has brought me laughter, and everyone who hears about this will laugh with me."7 And she added, "Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? Yet I have borne him a son in his old age."

Hebrews 11:1 – “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Memorize)

The best kind of laughter comes as we learn to wait patiently on God’s promises! If God answered all our prayers within 5 minutes and fulfilled all his promises within days, we might not laugh quite as well as Sarah laughed! We might just take his gifts for granted and never learn the joy of patient waiting and complete trust. Holy laughter can come even in times of anticipation. God doesn’t answer all our prayers or miraculously solve all our dilemmas in an instant. We have to learn the joy of a blindfolded walk with God, never waver in our assurance that He is guiding us and hasn’t forgotten all his promises, promises not to harm us, but to bless us, and give us a hope and a future. Amen.

Dear friend, hear what Sarah says, “everyone who hears about this will laugh with me”. That’s what a testimony would do in our life! It boosts our faith and helps us to keep trusting. Every time trials, problems and unbelief come your way, let the joy of the Lord hit you and help you get stronger to flex your faith muscles and exercise your faith. Never allow satan to torment you. Circumstances may look threatening, future may look bleak but you say, “ I have hope in my Jesus who would never fail me!”

I just cannot forget the day my miracle baby boy Joshua was born after a long struggle of illness, uncertainty and pain. My hospital room was filled with flowers and bouquets of all kinds! I had never seen such colors of roses and flowers before! In the midst of those flowers lay my baby boy who outshone them all with his lovely eyes and pink color! ( Click HERE for complete testimony) I was so overwhelmed with joy that I kept smiling, laughing to myself, and blabbering deliriously! I still go crazy when I think of my amazing healing! After I endured the pain and grief, God blessed me to smile and the cheer spread. I pray that each one of you will experience the joy of the Lord very soon, as you trust God to do miracles in your life.

A man who was terribly wounded and was lying on his back for a long time was trusting God and praying. Everyday when he would go to God in prayer, the devil would whisper in his ear, God does not love you anymore because he has not healed you. But this man would loudly say, “He died for me on the cross and that is enough proof that He loves me.” When we go through problems, discouragements, we need to look what the Word says and walk by Faith and not by sight. Make good confessions!

Dear friends, rejoice, rejoice with all your hearts. Break forth into song. Lose those inhibitions. Follow that urge to lift your hands in praise. GOD IS GOOD!
