Summary: God has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what He has done from beginning to end. Ecclesiastes 3:11. Life is not a race, jockeying for fist place. Yet it is a deliberate journey.

There is a right time for everything. In order for things to work the way God has intended, we must sometimes wait. As a baby is being formed in the mother’s womb, it takes time to perfect this God given creation. As a baby approaches his/her toddler years the skeletal system and muscles are continuing to develop as he/she prepares to take that first step. As a butterfly lay dormant, awaiting the right time to take its first flight into the open sky. Waiting is nothing new, it has become less meaningful and many have paid the price for impatience.

Our microwave society has grown heavily impatient. We wish to push a button and receive a response or gratification within seconds. Psalm 27:14 “AMP” Says Wait and hope for and expect the Lord; be brave and of good courage and let your heart be stout and enduring. Yes, wait for and hope for and expect the lord. Psalm 27:14 “NKJV” Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And he shall strengthen your heart; Wait I say, on the Lord! David new God was in control when things were going great and when things were going not so great. When we learn to wait and have faith in God we begin to understand the process and learn to work through those obstacles, as we become who God wants us to become. God gives us the ability to move mountains. Jesus did say “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, be removed and be cast into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Mark 11:22-23. This does not mean you will move a physical mountain. However, it does speak to the power of faith and calling things into existence. Our heart plays a key role in making miracles happen. Belief without doubt “in our hearts” is that special ingredient.

The words you speak sometimes put in motion an irrevocable consequence. We as humans say things like I can’t do this, even though the bible says that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, Philippians 4:13. My life sucks even though God Says you are fearfully and wonderfully made, psalm 139:14. We must understand that God’s words formed the world. We are made in the image of Him and therefore speak the authority of Him who made us. In no way have I mastered this myself. I too say things I wish I could take back. I believe God is constantly refining us to be who we were designed to be. As a carpenter prepares the foundation, making it strong enough to hold the intended structure, God is preparing us to deal with things that happen to us in life. I will leave you with this. Let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart, Galatians 6:9.. God is doing a great work in your life, keep doing good and you will be bless for your efforts.
