Let"S All Stand

Summary: Taking a stand my be optional, but you will never experience God’s power if you refuse to do so.
LET’S ALL STAND
Eph 6:10-18
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. (Relationship power)
(Just telling you to be strong does, not make you strong. It takes hard work through prayer and applying God’s Word to your everyday life).
We are going to go through fiery trials in our lives. We have got to be prepared if we are going to come through them with victory.
Paul said,
11 Put on the whole armour of God, (I think I can handle this battle without this piece of armor) that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, (territories controlled by ungodly forces) against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world,(drugs, alcohol, prostitution, homosexuality, abortion, witchcraft, murder) against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always
stand To remain stable, effective, or unaltered. To engage in or encounter. To resist successfully; withstand: To put up with patiently
that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
2 Cor 4:8-9
8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
Gal 5:1-2
5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
Phil 1:27
stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;
Col 4:12
stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.
stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.
Ps 4:4
4 Stand in awe, and sin not:
Standing in the face of opposition, sickness, and everything else that life throws at you may be optional, but you will never experience the salvation of the Lord unless you stand.
