Summary: Wonder who will be the next to die?

Life & Death

Wonder who will be the next to die?

Ecc 9: 7-12

Some people live to be old.

Death is the surest thing about life.

Heb 9: 27 “And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgement.”

As David said, “there is but a step between me and death” I Samuel 20: 3

Job said, “My day are swifter than a waver’s shuttle.”

James said, “Whereas ye know what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appeareth for a little time and then vanisheth away.”

We should live each day as it were our last, indeed it very well may be.

Eph 5: 14-17

So Christ teaches to live today making things right, keep things right.

“Agree with thy adversaries while it is called today.”

“Let not the sun go down on your worth.”

Gal 6: 10 “As we have there opportunity let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.”

Ecc 9: 10 “Whatsoever thy hands find to do, do it with all thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave whither thou goest.”

Luke 16: 19-26

How we live now, what we do this day may determine our eternity.

Gal 6: 7-8 “Be not deceived…”

Matt 6: 25-34

What about your life today?

Are we wasting our days?

Acts 10: 17 “Now while Peter wondered within himself what this vision which he had seen meant, behold, the men who had been sent from Cornelius had made inquiry for Simon’s house, and stood before the gate.”

Luke 13: 13 “And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.”

I John 1: 9 “I we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

Mark 16: 16 “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.”

Acts 16: 31 “So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

Matt 10: 32 “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven.”

Rev 3: 10 “Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who swell on the earth.”
