Summary: Now it's time to study from the life of the spider. The Bible says that the spider taketh hold with her hands, and is in kings’ palaces.

THE SPIDER

Proverbs 30:25-28 There be four things which are little upon the earth, but they are exceeding wise.

The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer;

The conies are but a feeble folk, yet make they their houses in the rocks;

The locusts have no king, yet go they forth all of them by bands;

The spider taketh hold with her hands, and is in kings’ palaces.

In the last few articles we have studied some lessons from the little yet exceeding wise creatures - ants, conies and locusts. Now it's time to study from the life of the spider. The Bible says that the spider taketh hold with her hands, and is in kings’ palaces.

Let us see a few things step by step:

1) POSSESSION: Though the spider is so vulnerable and feeble yet it reaches its destiny - kings' palace. You know many times we try to get rid of the cob webs and clear them and we notice that the spider some how tries to escape the broom and will get back to the sealing of the room and little later starts building its web again. Imagine the hurdles it crosses to reach the palace or the luxurious room sealing. This shows that it has in it the determination and the desire to possess its place. This should encourage us also to not give up but go ahead to possess our promises and our inheritance. No doubt we must have fallen sometimes or are facing constant hurdles, but we need to arise and once again start climbing the ladder of faith by taking hold of God's promises and claim our position which is already given to us in Christ.

1st Peter 2:9-10 says, "You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy". Oh! What a precious fact - we now have obtained the mercy of God. Therefore, it is the time to arise and go forward and Christ shall give us light.

2) BUILT-IN POTENTIAL: Did you notice that the spider does not need anything from outside to build its web like many other creatures need other natural material to build their nest, house , etc. God has created the spider with such built-in material that is required to make the web. It produces on its own varieties of strings and does not depend on anyone or anything. Oh! What a blessing.

Friend, when you are in Christ you possess all the required, built-in blessing for life and godliness. God has so designed you that as long as you stay connected with Him you will never lack any thing. The scripture says that you are blessed with all spiritual blessings in Christ. Jesus said that He is the Vine and you are the branches. Hence, you have the ability to produce. You have the ability to win. You are more than a conqueror! God's life flows in you and through you to help others. It’s all in you. Jesus said, "The Kingdom of God is in you". God's way of doing things is in you. Therefore, exalt the Lord and worship Him and choose to walk in love and all these blessings will begin to flow out of your life to bless you and others.

Don’t give up! It is ALL in you. In the Name of Jesus get rid of all that has clogged your God given potential and ability and is hindering you to reach your destiny. Be free in Jesus' Name, walk in freedom and serve the Lord.

God Bless You.
