Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. - Matthew 6:34
Worry is one of the greatest problems of modern society. It is the cause of many illnesses and problems in this life. Over-worrying can hurt one's body to the place of having it dis-functional and being unable to operate well in normal daily life activities. Each person we meet daily is carrying many burdens, loads, concerns and worries. Life is full of responsibilities, circumstances and pressures that will bring about worry quickly in our minds unless we give them immediately to the Lord. Our Lord's teaching on the sermon on the mount gives us the simple clear teaching of how to be worry free or stress free! He teaches that we have an Heavenly Father that cares for our needs and will take care of us. What a relieve that we are not in charge of all our lives but we can submit and obey a Master in heaven that is.
God's creation is the order that we should look at to find this lesson practical as our Lord taught. He said that flowers do not strain or strive to find the right clothes or are concerned of how they look to others. Rather he said the flowers and grass of the field are given their clothes and needs from the Lord. The flowers of the field take in the sun and rain which the Heavenly Father grants to them abundantly. How much more will God take care of you and take care of your needs in this modern world. Troubles? the Apostle James tells us to pray (James 5:13). Talk to the Lord, give him your concerns and troubles. He will gladly take care of everything and let you beam like a fresh flower in a field.
