I. In our nature

A. Creation

Gen 1:27

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

B. God is Love

I Jn 4:8

Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

II. Our Identity

John 13:35

“By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."

III. Our Mission

A. Love the LORD your God...

Deut 6:5 cf. Mt 22:37

Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.

B. Love your neighbor...

Lev 19:18 cf. Mt 22:39

"’Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against one of your people, but love your neighbor as yourself.”

C. Love one another...

John 13:34

"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”

Extro:

Is love free? Then why is it not prevalent today? The answer is probably within us, those who have it doesn’t share it or worst we want to accumulate more.

Challenge:

We can only share what we have, if you haven’t experience God’s love what can you share. The great thing about His love is that it’s for all to accept.
