1. It Starts With Loving God
• Matt 22:37-40 (Heart, Soul, & Mind)
If we are going to be a Loving Chruch we must first be passionate lovers of God.
If we love Him we will keep His commands
• John 14:15, 21, 23
***His command to us was Love one another, John 13:34-35; Roman 13:8; 1 Peter1:22; 1 John 3:11; 2 John 1:5-6
2. Loving God Leads To Love One Another
Mark 12:31 “Love your neighbor as yourself”
1 John 4:19-21 “We love each other…”
John 13:34-35 “A new commandment; this proves we are His disciples”
3. Loving One Another Is Born Out In Service One To Another
John 15:12-13 “Love one another, no greater love”
Romans 12:9-11 Love and Serve
Gal 5:13 saved to serve
Conclusion
If we love God, we must love one another, and if we love one another, we will serve one another.
Jesus didn’t just tell us the way to live He showed us. Matt 20:28, “the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
