Making Your Life Count:
1) The Body of Christ has always been a collection of ordinary people! Acts 1:1-3
Many of us live and die and never ask why?
Ephesians 2:10 “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” (NLT)
Question: Do live like your God’s masterpiece?
2) The Body of Christ is given the power to change the world! Acts 1:4-7
Question: Would God do with us what he did with his first followers?
Luke 24:49 “And now I will send the Holy Spirit, just as my Father promised. But stay here in the city until the Holy Spirit comes and fills you with power from heaven.” (NLT)
We are ordinary but we are empowered by the Holy Spirit!
3) The Body of Christ is the witness to the world! Acts 1:8
We are to tell the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth!
Revelation 5:9 “For you were slaughtered, and your blood has ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation.” (NLT)
Question: What if we rocked the world with hope?
4) You are strategically positions to be sent! Acts 1:8
Question: Does Jesus still use simple people like us to change the world?
The Talmud: “Save one life. Save the world!”
