Summary: We have to make sure we are making a positive impact on our family, because they are the ones we are around the most, plus they have been given to us or put into our life, so that we can minster to them, witness to them!

Matthew 10:5-10-These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: "Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans.

6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

7 And as you go, preach, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven is at hand.'

8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.

9 Provide neither gold nor silver nor copper in your money belts,

10 nor bag for your journey, nor two tunics, nor sandals, nor staffs; for a worker is worthy of his food.

Go Into The Way Of The Gentiles-They were to go to a specific people, they were to focus on those people, they were to minister to those people!

You and I are to minster too, focus on and be a witness too, to specific people, I believe it starts with our family!

We have to make sure we are making a positive impact on our family, because they are the ones we are around the most, plus they have been given to us or put into our life, so that we can minster to them, witness to them!

Then from there we spread out to our friends, our coworkers, those people we meet in our daily routine.

Just like a stone being thrown in the water, it has a ripple affect!

Preach, Saying, 'The Kingdom Of Heaven Is At Hand-Not only were they to go to a particular people, but they were to have particular message!

Now, we have a message to tell, and the great thing is we don’t have to stand behind a pulpit to tell!

We don’t need to wait for them to come to us, before we can tell it, matter of fact, we are to go to them in the first place!

What is that message that we are proclaiming, you may ask?

1-John 3:16-For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Doesn’t matter who you are, or how bad you are or how bad you think you are, everyone desires love, that’s where we need to start!

The kingdom is at hand because Jesus came to us, to die on the cross for our sins!

2- Romans 6:23-For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The other thing that we need to share with them is there is a penalty for sin!

There are two alternatives to where you will spend eternity! Heaven or Hell!

This can also be a positive reminder, just because there is so much injustice in the world, doesn’t mean it is going to stay that way….There is a payday, some day!

3- Psalm 39:4-5- “LORD, remind me how brief my time on earth will be. Remind me that my days are numbered— how fleeting my life is.

5 You have made my life no longer than the width of my hand. My entire lifetime is just a moment to you; at best, each of us is but a breath.” (NLT)

We are to remind people how short life is, someone can be here one day and the next day be gone!

That our time on this old earth is limited!

If we are going to make a decision for the Lord, we must do it today!

If we are going to serve the Lord, we must do it today!

Freely You Have Received, Freely Give.

God may ask you to do a lot of different stuff, for a lot of different people!

You are always to remember, to give what is required of you, what is asked of you, because ever thing you got, or will have, has been given to you!!

Whatever you give up, or give to others, God can replace, God will repay!

You cannot, nor will you ever be able to out give God!

Just remember this….It was never yours to keep anyway!!!

For A Worker Is Worthy Of His Food

God always takes care of His own!!

If you will take care of His work, He will take care of you!!

Matthew 6:33-But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
