Misunderstanding God's Message Series

Topic: MISUNDERSTANDING GOD'S MESSAGE

John 7:27-28King James Version (KJV)

27 Howbeit we know this man whence he is: but when Christ cometh, no man knoweth whence he is.

28 Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not.

Beloved, the Jews had heard messages preached or taught about the Messiah from the scrolls written by the Prophets and all but they lacked the understanding the message in there carried.

They interpreted God's Word with carnal minds. They didn't and could not perceive the Spirit behind the Word or the Spirit that backed what they read.

Beloved, it is an error to hear a message from God, or read the Word of God and not have the meaning that God intends you to have. Especially Christians who have Precious Holy Spirit living in us as our teacher and guide .

Beloved it is an error to read the Word of God like a story book or a newspaper or a history book.

It is the infallible Word of God which carries deeper and deeper meanings so much so that you can receive thousands of new revelations everyday on just one line in the Holy Book and you will not even finish receiving the revelations before you die and even in your death and the hereafter still receive many thousands more of these revelations on that sane one line.

The Word of God is Jesus Christ. We have to read the Word with the mentality of finding Jesus in it. Read the Holy Bible with a *#jesusmentality*.

There is nothing in the Bible that doesn't point to Jesus. All the things in there points to Jesus, from Genesis to Revelation.

Anytime you read the Bible and you don't find Jesus or Jesus is not revealed to you in your heart and mind then you have read in error because for the Holy Book, *#itsallaboutjesus*.

Beloved, because the Jewish teachers and preachers didn't understand what they had been reading, they had a misconception of the whole Messiah message and so had it wrong from day one.

All they preached or taught to others were false messages and they misled the nation of Israel.

Beloved, becareful who you listen to or read because when you get certain doctrines, beliefs and knowledge of Jesus wrong, you could be a Christian alright but would miss many many good things that you are to enjoy and your authority and blessings would probably be limited because you don't even know what to claim for, how to claim for it and even if it should hit you by chance how to use it and enjoy it would be a problem.

Beloved when you have the *#iamjesuscentred* nature and mindset, your reaction to the Word is different, your main goal is finding Jesus because you know and believe that, whatever or whoever Jesus is you also are and your whole life and world revolves around Him.

The only way to have true understanding and revelation of the Word of God and preach it well is when Precious Holy Spirit, living in your heart teaches you and empowers you to preach what He has taught you.

Beloved don't be misled otherwise even when the truth comes it would be difficult for you to accept it. You would notice that even when Jesus was giving them the actual truth and meaning of that aspect of the message about the Messiah in the verse 28 of our scripture above, they didn't believe Him, rather some became confused. Others believed though.

Beloved many are misled because you and I are failing Jesus and failing the Body of Christ. We are not evangelizing. We are not taking Jesus to the masses first so that by the time the false messengers would get there the people already have the truth. We are slow and this makes them beat us to winning souls.

Let's rise up and move into the town's and villages and cities and preach the truth. Lets preach the true Jesus everywhere for *IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS* and no one else. Don't be lazy, rise up and move for Jesus.

Prayer: Father please help us to understand what we study and take Jesus to all the corners of the world. In Jesus name we pray. AMEN.
