Summary: The Forgiveness Jesus offers, has its privileges, freedom from any and all condemnation is one of them. Condemnation is another thing that Jesus pinned to the mat along with the devils use of it in your life to the Mat forevermore!

Mama said there would be days like this...

Romans 8:31 MSG.

31-39. So, what do you think? With God on our side like this, how can we lose? If God didn't hesitate to put everything on the line for us, embracing our condition and exposing himself to the worst by sending his own Son, is there anything else he wouldn't gladly and freely do for us?

And who would dare tangle with God by messing with one of God's chosen? Who would dare even to point a finger? The One who died for us—who was raised to life for us!—is in the presence of God at this very moment sticking up for us.

Do you think anyone is going to be able to drive a wedge between us and Christ's love for us? There is no way! Not trouble, not hard times, not hatred, not hunger, not homelessness, not bullying threats, not backstabbing, not even the worst sins listed in Scripture:

This scripture tells us loud and clear, nothing or no one seen or unseen can drive a wedge between us and God‘s love! Powerful pointed and descriptive, are the words that God chose to describe His zealous love for His children.

And yet as we have all observed over the years in our walk with the Lord. Far too many, sometimes even ourselves included, have let the issues and challenges we face in life come between and creat a barrier with our relationship with God!

We get sick, we can’t believe God would allow such a thing to happen.

We get missed treated, we get taken advantage of,

We get caught in the middle of life’s situations and they steal our focus from our walk, our source of life and our constant supplier of our every need.

More of us should’ve listened when our mamas said there would be days like this!

Even more importantly what our mommas should’ve said is, “child listen up God has already provided for days like this!” And that’s what our text tells us!

Yes Sometimes, things will happen and we get beaten down by the accuser and by what happens to us in the world,

By a certain situation, or a group of people, or an illness, we may have caused it, or had no control over it happening,

Whatever may be the case, life events always try to weasel there way in-between our relationship with the Lord if we let it.

But I must ask you a question this morning. Who are you and who’s are you? I think far too many of God’s children at times of need...forget who they are and who’s or to whom they belong too!

Many will say they’re a child of God, but far to many don’t act like they are!

Entitlement! Entitlement is one where we here quite often in today’s modern vernacular! This is what the dictionary says entitlement is;

the fact of having a right to something.

"full entitlement to fees and maintenance should be offered"

synonyms: right, prerogative, claim, title, license; More

* the amount to which a person has a right."annual leave entitlement"

allowance, allocation, allotment, quota, ration, grant, limit "your annual holiday entitlement"

*the belief that one is inherently deserving of privileges or special treatment."no wonder your kids have a sense of entitlement"

God wants His children to have an entitlement mindset!

To many children of God, and the church in general we have lost our sense of and our inherit right to lay hold of, all God has done for us!

* All things that are over my head are under His feet!

* I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength!

* All things work together for those who love the Lord!

* With Man nothing is possible, but with God All Things are Possible!

All to Jesus I surrender, all to Him I freely give, I will ever love and trust Him, in His presence daily live! I surrender All, I surrender, All to thee my Blessed Saviour, I Surrender All!

When the pitfalls of life come, daily they must be surrendered to Jesus! All means all, even the bits and pieces we think we can solve or take care of need to be surrendered!

Those bits and pieces accumulate to become distractions and focus stealers!

If were not careful, they can become a focal and dwelling point with us and shift our thinking into neutral, or even worse into reverse and you know what happens when the car gets put in reverse...you have to look in the rear view mirror!

And if there’s one thing we don’t need to be doing, is looking behind in the rear view mirror or out the back window into the past!
