There are 2 types of Battles that are just not worth fighting
Giving our best efforts to the wrong Fights
a. Over theology
b. Over small issues
c. Acting with our own best interests at the forefront.
d. We fight each other, instead of the common enemy
III) Wrong Priorities
i. Fighting for what you know is wrong
b. Out of Moderation
i. Too much of a good thing, is a bad thing
Water is good, floods are not
Dessert is good, too much will make you fat
Sports are good, they are healthy, but too much and you’ll have no time left for God or your family.
Games and fun, too much and you have to time left for work.
We need to put our energy towards the Battles that we must win to succeed in life.

o Luke 15 Jesus is speaking a group of people that were not highly valued in society.
o LOST SHEEP – the shepherd will leave the 99 to look for the lost.
o LOST COIN – Lady has 10 silver coins, and when one is lost she turns her whole house upside down to find it.
o LOST (prodigal) SON – Boy takes inheritance and leaves, but the father is waiting to welcome him back, not as a slave but as a son.
To have a healthy value for people, we must also realize the value that God has for us. That value should drive us to want to keep ourselves pure because of the great value that we hold.

4. Consistent Growth
o ILL – foam pellets that grow into Big animal shapes in water

o Grow or Shrink, maintenance doesn’t work
o grow up in ALL ASPECTS into Jesus Christ.
o Train your mind with good books, good teaching good friends.
o Train your heart with good prayer, good time devoted to God and good hears to hear what God is saying, let the Holy Spirit encourage you.
o Train your body with healthy living, push yourself to be in better shape, get enough rest, continue to learn about how God made you and put that information to use.
o Constantly Grow BECAUSE God constantly wants to enlarge your territory, responsibility, effectiveness in the Kingdom
