23 During that long period, the king of Egypt died. Egyptians loved cleanliness - disdained shepherds Moses returns to Egypt not as a prince but as a shepherd. Trained to hold a scepter, he has in his hands a simple shepherd’s staff. The stage is set for conflict with the gods of Egypt.
