14:22 Because all those men who have seen My glory and My [miraculous] signs which I performed in Egypt and in the wilderness, yet have tested and proved Me these ten times and have not heeded My voice,

14:23 Surely they shall not see the land which I swore to give to their fathers; nor shall any who provoked (spurned, despised) Me see it.

It's a rare and blessed thing for your family to be included in the bible, there are some great, great men of GOD included such as Abraham, Moses and JESUS.

JESUS:

Mark 6:3 (Amplified Bible)

6:3 Is not this the Carpenter, the son of Mary and the brother of James and Joses and Judas and Simon? And are not His sisters here among us? And they took offense at Him and were hurt [that is, they disapproved of Him, and it hindered them from acknowledging His authority] and they were caused to stumble and fall.

VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. The meaning of their names taken from the Hebrew

1. Amram means "high people" - father of Moses

2. Joshebed or "yokebed" means Jehovah-gloried. - mother of Moses

3. Levi or "leviy" means "attached" - father of Joshebed, grandfather of Moses

4. Aaron - uncertain derivation, but before the name of Aaron there's the signature of Aleph-Tav (JESUS CHRIST) - elder brother of Moses

5. Moses or "mosheh" means "drawing out, rescued, the Israelite lawgiver

6. Miriam or "miryam" means "rebelliously" - sister of Moses

Moses only draws out or pulls his strength from the LORD, and he is known as a humble man in his times because of this. He always glorifies the LORD and degrades himself. Miriam's name was lived in her life as well for she rebelled against Moses' authority.

Numbers 12:3 (Amplified Bible)

12:3 Now the man Moses was very meek (gentle, kind, and humble) or above all the men on the face of the earth.

Numbers 12:1-2 (Amplified Bible)

12:1 NOW MIRIAM and Aaron talked against Moses [their brother] because of his Cushite wife, for he had married a Cushite woman.

12:2 And they said, Has the Lord indeed spoken only by Moses? Has He not spoken also by us? And the Lord heard it.

Proverbs 18:12 (Amplified Bible)

18:12 Haughtiness comes before disaster, but humility before honor.

Proverbs 3:34 (Amplified Bible)

3:34 Though He scoffs at the scoffers and scorns the scorners, yet He gives His undeserved favor to the low [in rank], the humble, and the afflicted.

James 4:6 (Amplified Bible)

4:6 But He gives us more and more grace (power of the Holy Spirit, to meet this evil tendency and all others fully). That is why He says, God sets Himself against the proud and haughty, but gives grace [continually] to the lowly (those who are humble enough to receive it).

Proverbs 3:34 (Amplified Bible)

3:34 Though He scoffs at the scoffers and scorns the scorners, yet He gives His undeserved favor to the low [in rank], the humble, and the afflicted.

1 Peter 5:5 (Amplified Bible)

5:5 Likewise, you who are younger and of lesser rank, be subject to the elders (the ministers and spiritual guides of the church)—[giving them due respect and yielding to their counsel]. Clothe (apron) yourselves, all of you, with humility [as the garb of a servant, so that its covering cannot possibly be stripped from you, with freedom from pride and arrogance] toward one another. For God sets Himself against the proud (the insolent, the overbearing, the disdainful, the presumptuous, the boastful)—[and He opposes, frustrates, and defeats them], but gives grace (favor, blessing) to the humble.
