Summary: Wait ’til you see what God wants to do for you.
Lets see what Jesus did with PETER---
What he wants to do with you
1. This year God wants to borrow something---
Holding on to it----LIKE KIDS----
Don’t you know what you HAVE---- GOD GAVE YOU TO BEGIN WITH---
2. This year God wants to say something---
Cast out deep water--- Let down nets
Peter knows---
Fish at night, cool, Been doing it, not my idea,
BAD IDEA
WALK INTO ORLANDO’S @ 8:58
Then peter says--- “Never the less, at your word”
Obeying, doesn’t always feel good---
I like that PETER IS REAL---
“Shane apologize to MISSY”--- BUT LORD---
Nevertheless----- SAME REWARD---
Obedience brings--God’s miracles
AT YOUR WORD GOD---
The world changes… LIST…
I can give my kids…THE WORD OF GOD
Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.
AT YOUR WORD--- Family, Calling, Finances, Life
God wants to say something------ LISTEN
3.This year God wants to give you something back---
Obey his word---- You will not leave---empty handed
God will never ask for something---
That he doesn’t give Back----- MORE
LUKE 6:38--- GIVE & it will be given to you: good measure press down, shaken together and running over, will men give into you bosom
This year, God want you to cast out to the DEEP WATER
Swimming pool—
Shallow End----- Big end of the pool---
Where everybody is
NO DIVING, RUNNING, JUMPING PLAYING,
CAN’T DROWN---- CAN’T HAVE FUN
Deep end---- Fewer people, having more fun
Dives, cannonballs, belly flops,
bathing suits coming off
GET TO THE DEEP END
FRIDAY—MILLER TIME—
If your Friday is better that your Monday--- Swimming in shallow end
YOUR NOT LIVING A DREAM--- MAKING A LIVING
3 things to get you to the deep water
1. Deeper obedience—Isaiah 1: 19 If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land;
Believe the whole bible, WANT ALL OF GOD
2. Deeper Relationships---
Proverbs 27: 17 As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend
Get rid of—Narrow minded, unbelieving, doubtful, hi maintenance people
They get you 6 days a week---- I get you Hour & Half--- Twice a month
3. Deeper Faith- Mark 11: 22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. 23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
Don’t describe it--- My kids, my pain, my spouse
Speak to your mountain
