VIII. MAIN BODY:

Deuteronomy 25:13 (Amplified Bible)

You shall not have in your bag true and false weights, a large and a small.

Deuteronomy 25:13 (King James Version)

Thou shalt not have in thy bag divers weights, a great and a small.

A. No true and false standards

"You shall not have in your bag true and false weights,"

Diverse weights or "eben" in Hebrew meaning: to build, a stone. A stone has a weight. There are two standards in this world: (1) good, (2) bad. False balance or weight represents bad standards, while true balance or weight represents good standards. Since time immemorial, there has been a battle for good and evil, and it seems evil is winning, but it's not because the LORD JESUS CHRIST, two thousand years ago was already victorious, and even before the foundation of the world He has already been crucified, because even before the foundation of the world, we are already victorious and champions of righteousness for the LORD.

Ephesians 1:4 (Amplified Bible)

Even as [in His love] He chose us [actually picked us out for Himself as His own] in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy (consecrated and set apart for Him) and blameless in His sight, even above reproach, before Him in love.

1 Peter 1:20 (Amplified Bible)

It is true that He was chosen and foreordained (destined and foreknown for it) before the foundation of the world, but He was brought out to public view (made manifest) in these last days (at the end of the times) for the sake of you.

1. False weights or standards : to do evil

Proverbs 11:1 (Amplified Bible)

A FALSE balance and unrighteous dealings are extremely offensive and shamefully sinful to the Lord, but a just weight is His delight.

2. True balance or GOD's standards

Proverbs 16:11 (Amplified Bible)

A just balance and scales are the Lord’s; all the weights of the bag are His work [established on His eternal principles].

Job 31:6 (Amplified Bible)

Oh, let me be weighed in a just balance and let Him weigh me, that God may know my integrity!

I'll choose GOD's sets of standards that are found in His WORDS, I have chosen righteousness, I have chosen the yoke of the LORD, it has weight, but it's light.

Deuteronomy 30:19 (Amplified Bible)

I call heaven and earth to witness this day against you that I have set before you life and death, the blessings and the curses; therefore choose life, that you and your descendants may live
