Summary: How we can open the windows of Heaven

OPENING WINDOWS OF HEAVEN # 2

Malachi 3: 10Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

We saw in message one how God opened windows for the saints of now lets look at how we can open them today

1. When we open our heart and Church life to Christ.

Rev. 3: 19As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

20Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

21To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

22He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

A. We need to repent

B. We need to be zealous

C. We need to hear what he is saying

D. We need to answer the door and let him in

E. We can be an over comer

F. Clean out your ears

2. When we square our financed account with God.

Malachi 3. 7Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?

8Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.

9Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.

10Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

11And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.

12And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.

Give God gives back 4 fold

Prove God to be true

We have lost a number of blessings not doing as God commands

We can be happy in a nation of God fearing people

3. When the Church comes together in and old time meeting

2nd Chron.:7: 13If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;

14If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

We get humble

When we truly pray

When we seek Gods face

When we turn from our wicked ways

God will hear us and forgive us our sins and heal this wicked land

We quote not pray with humble hearts

4. When we pray and get hold of God.

James 5: 16Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

17Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.

18And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.

Some times we act as if we have no sin

We need to get in and old fashion alters and pray

To be on Gods team we must pray earnestly

It must be and effectual fervent prayer

Let God hear us not man

5. When we all get saved

John 1: 12But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

13Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Heaven came down and glory filled my soul when at the cross the saviour made me whole my sins were washed away my night turned today
