Overcome The World Through God!

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Submit to GOD:

This word submit, is a strong and straight word, which is not an easy pill to swallow. It means to come under subjection or yield authority. The ability to submit is contrary to human nature. We desire to be in control or to rule over ourselves. But if we want power to overcome the perils in this world, we must submit to GOD. GOD is love. His principles, his guide-sets, and his values are holy. So if you do his perfect will, he will perfect you. Pray his direction and his guidance. GOD your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven!

Resist the devil:

Resistance simply means to oppose; to stand against. Stand against the devil and this world. He is the prince of this world. His principles, his guide-sets, his values are the same as the world. You can’t resist if you believe, think, or value the same as he does. So first change your thinking: "Be ye not conformed to this world, be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind." But, let this mind be in you that was also in Christ Jesus."

He will flee.

The idle mind is the playground for the devil. Fill yourself with scripture. Psalm 119: 11. Thy word I have hid in my heart that I might not sin against thee. Darkness and Light cannot occupy the same place at the same time. If your mind, heart and soul are on heavenly places, and your mind on things eternal. The world cannot stay. It will flee.

So can you submit your will to GOD, and resist the temptations of the world? Through prayer, and meditation you can, and the fowler and his allies of this world will flee from you.
