Summary: Each time the feet of Jesus is mentioned in the Bible we could paint of a picture at what happens when gathers at His feet.

Feet of Jesus.

Luke 24:39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. .

Luke 24:40 And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet. .

I. His feet bring comfort. A place of comfort. -

A. Fear has to leave!

B. Fear cannot operate where there is faith and faith cannot operate where there is fear.

II. A place of Peace.

Luke 8:35 Then they went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid. .

III. A place of Mercy and Forgiveness.

Luke 7:38 And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment. .

IV. A place of Hope.

Mark 7:25 For a certain woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of him, and came and fell at his feet: .

V. The feet of Jesus is a place of power.

A. Wagon in Africa.

Matt 15:30 And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus' feet; and he healed them: Matt 15:31 Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel. .

VI. Place of suffering.

Ps 22:16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the

wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.

A. Pastor Allen in Ohio, had a vision of Jesus after having a heart attack and split in his church. He asked Jesus why he was wearing sandals? He heard Jesus say" I have come a long way for you and the road has not been easy"

VII. Place of learning.

A. The perfect place of leaning is at the feet of Jesus.

Luke 10:39 And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word. .

B. Matt. 11:28 Come unto Me and I will give you rest...

VIII. Place of Resurrection Power. Where prayer request can be made!

John 11:32 Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.

Mark 5:22 And, behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet,

IX. Place of Worship.

Matt 28:9 And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him. .

X. Place of giving thanks.

Luke 17: 16 And fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.

A. Place where all can come. Act. 10:34

XI. He alone is worthy.

Acts 13:25 And as John fulfilled his course, he said, Whom think ye that I am? I am not he. But, behold, there cometh one after me, whose shoes of his feet I am not worthy to loose.

XII. Everything is under his feet.

1 Cor 15:25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. .

1 Cor 15:27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith, all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. .

Eph 1:22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, .

Heb 2:8 Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him. .

A. We are sitting with Him in heavily places. This is where our position of strength and power is located.

XIII. What a day that will be when we shall see Him!

Zec 14:3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. Zech 14:4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
