Summary: Paul now shows forth his care for the Thessalonians even as he was faithful in imparting the gospel of Christ for the redemption of their souls.

“Paul’s Care For Them”
I. Paul’s COURAGE before them. (vv. 1-4).
II. Paul’s COMMITMENT to them. (vv. 5-6)
III. Paul’s CARE for the Thessalonians. (vv. 7-9) Isaiah 40:11; 2 Timothy 2:24-25; Genesis 47:12; 1 Thessalonians 5:14
A. He cared for them as a nurse SUSTAINS her children. (v. 7) supports & supplies, nurtures, cherishes, fosters, comforts Numbers 11:12; Isaiah 49:23; 66:13; 1 Thessalonians 2:11
B. He had a STRONG affection for them. (v. 8a) yearning love Romans 1:11-12; 12:1-2; Galatians 4:19; Philippians 1:8; 2:25-26
C. He was well-pleased to SHARE the Gospel of God. (v. 8b) impart, bestow Luke 14:18-19; Matthew 28:18-20; Romans 10:15; 2 Timothy 4:2, 5; 2 Corinthians 4:5; Romans 15:16; Colossians 1:28; 1 Timothy 1:11
