This letter is from Paul, a slave of Christ Jesus, chosen by God to be an apostle and sent out to preach his Good News.

V. THESIS:

We are all called to be saints in CHRIST.

C. Purpose: Preparation for the Roman christians for Paul's awaited visit.

VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. Know who you are in CHRIST

"This letter is from Paul, a slave of Christ Jesus"

1. We are set free from law of sin and death.

Romans 8:2 (New King James Version)

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

2. No more condemnation for us.

Romans 8:1 (New King James Version)

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

3. We are godly and will suffer persecution because of the LORD JESUS CHRIST

Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.

Romans - called to be saints

We are all called to be saints. Don't ever doubt your calling in CHRIST.
