Power To Get Wealth: Climbing Jacob's Ladder

“And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it” (Genesis 28:12, King James Version, KJV [Vision of Jacob's ladder]).

Greetings In The Holy Name of Our Lord And Saviour Christ Jesus,

Sisters and brothers in Christ Jesus, I speak to you full of the hope of faith that my belief will catapult me on Jacob's ladder climbing with the angels (Genesis 28:12,KJV)---into the promised lifestyle, if only I believe the Truth, Christ Jesus died for me and resurrected on the third day---ascended to heaven to sit at the right hand of God, saved me, lifted me up ---snatched me out of Death's hands---the pit of death to salvation, quickening me to be born again transformed in baptism by water and baptism by fire to feel the waters of Christ Jesus welled up inside of me so that I should thirst no more nor should I succumb to the weakness of the flesh [“And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me” St. John 12:32, KJV]. I do not know about you, my sisters and brothers but I am tired of chasing the hot dog and the hamburger, the plate of sustenance that grounds the flesh to this earth in denial of the spiritual life that Christ Jesus told the woman of Samaria---aka---better known as the woman at the well. I want to plant my seed in good ground, multiply my blessings and annihilate my worldly issues with a belief in faith that I am a child of God in the family of God---a sibling of Christ Jesus with a share in the holy inheritance of priesthood.

How many of you find yourselves rocking back and forth---to and fro---on each rung of Jacob's ladder as you run your course trying to set your feet on solid ground so that you fall not back down into the death that Christ Jesus saved you from? I want to run up the ladder ascending as an angel in everlasting life for Christ promised me this lifestyle of God's love. I want to skip over a few rungs of the ladder in quantum leaps to the top of Jacob's ladder not rocking but feet planted firmly on solid ground. How about you---do you aspire to reach the top of Jacob's ladder? Do you aspire to receive the power that overcomes, the power that binds and the power to loose, let us pray:

Father bind the forces of evil that stand like mountains blocking and hindering

the wealth that I should have had long time ago or the wealth I did have and lost---

restore it all back to me. Heavenly Father, loose me from the chains, darts, and

serpents cast out upon me by those who seek to kill, steal and destroy and pour out

the window blessings for me.

I know when the children of Israel sought deliverance from Egypt you showed the people that the staff of Moses could turn into a snake and eat the snakes of the magicians of Egypt. Let the serpents of God eat the serpents of witchcraft and send all the bad tidings and evil thoughts back to them rendering them captured in their own evil deeds---bound to their evil wishes and destroyed by their own evil prayers---chained in their own iniquity. For I was a woman who was told to keep some weight on my body so that the culture that sought to oppress me would not think too harshly of me and call me “puny”, you know what that means---a bag of bones undesirable to those who lived an abundant life as if the fatness of the cow symbolically demonstrated power to live a fat life but all I know is that fatness of self shows that your prayer delivered resources that provided you with enough food to gain weight not necessarily to strengthen you in your belief in the faith of Christ Jesus as you ask, knock and seek agreement in prayer to receive the power to get wealth. I found myself chasing the fish, the chicken, the pig, the cow, the deer, the quail, the bison and/or the buffalo and the vegetables of the day until I almost fainted in disgust of myself---overly full of the foods of the earth until my breathing was heavy.

What does it matter if you appear slender yet well provided for and strong in your belief in the faith

of Christ Jesus? Does it matter more to you to fit in---to go along to get along to abide in culture and tradition rather than abide in Christ Jesus---with big body, big breasts and big buttocks? Is that the wealth you ask, knock and seek for, a big body, big breasts and big buttocks or do you also ask, knock and seek for the cash currency, the gold and the silver; the diamonds, emeralds, rubies, sapphires and jewels of the earth in addition to the foods of the earth? Accordingly, John (1:12-13, KJV) the beloved disciple who sought to explain the mystery of the Person of Christ Jesus in the belief that Jesus was the Christ the Son of God, so stated in the gospel of Christ, “But many as received him, to them gave he the power to become sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” So, we reflect on God's promise, “And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth. But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day” (Deuteronomy 8: 17-18, KJV [Exhortation to obedience]).
