Summary: I urge you to pray in accordance with God’s Word, so that God’s will might be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Personalize the following Scriptures . . .

Our nation’s only hope is Divine intervention! Scripture says that the heart of the king is in the hand of the Lord. The Lord Jesus Christ is King of kings and Lord of Lords. May HE rule through our earthly leaders! “Some trust in chariots and some in horses but we will remember the name of the Lord our God. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in leaders.” (Psalm 20:7, Psalm 118:9) Jesus Christ is the prince of Peace and He has come to bring peace on Earth and good will to all mankind. All hail King JESUS!

The Scriptures are filled with words that are fitting for our day and age. Man’s words will all fade away but the Word of the Lord shall stand forever! Therefore I urge you to pray in accordance with God’s Word, so that God’s will might be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Personalize the following Scriptures and make them specific to the present situation. Please take time to pray through these Scriptures and trust God Almighty to bring them to pass.

Prayers of Mercy

Psalm 103:8-13

The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.

He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.

As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

Like as a father pities his children, so the LORD pities them that fear him.

Lamentations 3:22-23

It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.

They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

Psalm 85:6-7

Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?

Show us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation.

Psalm 89:14-18

Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.

Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance.

In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted.

For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy favor our horn shall be exalted.

For the LORD is our defense; and the Holy One of Israel is our king.

Psalm 118:29

O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endures for ever.

Prayers of Deliverance

Psalm 79:8-9

O remember not against us former iniquities: let thy tender mercies speedily prevent us: for we are brought very low.

Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for thy name’s sake.

Psalm 140:1-9, 11-13

Deliver me, O LORD, from the evil man: preserve me from the violent man;

Which imagine mischiefs in their heart; continually are they gathered together for war.

They have sharpened their tongues like a serpent; adders’ poison is under their lips. Selah.

Keep me, O LORD, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from the violent man; who have purposed to overthrow my goings.

The proud have hid a snare for me, and cords; they have spread a net by the wayside; they have set gins for me. Selah.

I said unto the LORD, Thou art my God: hear the voice of my supplications, O LORD.

O GOD the Lord, the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle.

Grant not, O LORD, the desires of the wicked: further not his wicked device; lest they exalt themselves. Selah.

As for the head of those that compass me about, let the mischief of their own lips cover them.

Let not an evil speaker be established in the earth: evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow him.

I know that the LORD will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and the right of the poor.

Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto thy name: the upright shall dwell in thy presence.

Prayers of Protection

Psalm 138:3, 7-8

In the day when I cried thou answered me, and strengthened me with strength in my soul.

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.

The LORD will perfect that which concerns me: thy mercy, O LORD, endures for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.

Psalm 106:8

Nevertheless He saved them for His name’s sake, that He might make His mighty power to be known.
