PRINCIPLES:

Work hard. Gain an excellent reputation at work. Don’t wait around for some big break . Don’t be afraid to start at the bottom at work.

Use your money wisely: Don’t waste it on selfish pursuits. Don’t fritter it away. Set some aside consistently. Invest wisely and well.

Don’t go into consumer debt. Borrowing money at interest in order to purchase depreciating assets is throwing money away. The credit card establishment and loan industry are not your friends. They are counting on you to make a late payment so that they can crank your interest rate up and hit you with fees. Do not be fooled by their friendly come-ons.

Be generous to the genuinely needy. “He who gives to the poor, lends to the Lord.” (Proverbs 19:17)

Lend to those who show responsibility. Psalm 37:26, 112:5: lending. When we lend, the principles of love and generosity do not end. High interest is sin.
