Keep on the firing line.
Soldier. I am a soldier in the ARMY of my God. The Lord Jesus Christ is my commanding officer. The Holy Bible is my code of conduct.
Faith, Prayer, and the word of God are my weapons of warfare.
I’ve been taught and trained by the holy spirit.
Tried by adversity, and tested by fire.
I am a volunteer in this ARMY, and I’m enlisted for eternity.
I will either retire at the rapture, or die in this ARMY, but I will not get out, sell out, be talked out or pushed out. I am faithful, reliable, capable, and ready. If my God can use me, I am there. If he needs me anywhere I am there. I am a soldier, not a baby. I do not need to be pampered, petted, primed up, or pumped up. I am a soldier. No one has to call me, remind me, bribe me, allure me, or visit me. I AM NOT A WIMP. No one has to send me cards flowers or gifts. I do not need to be cuddled, cared for or catered to. I am committed. I cannot have my feelings hurt bad enough to turn me around. I can’t be discouraged enough to turn me aside. I can’t lose enough to cause me to quit. When Jesus called me in this ARMY I had nothing, If I end up with nothing, I will still be ahead. I WILL WIN. My God has and will continue to supply all of my needs. I am more than a conqourer. I will always triumph. I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. Devils cannot defeat me, people can’t dissolusion me, weather can’t wear me, sickness cannot stop me, battles can’t defeat me, money can’t buy me, and Hell cannot handle me!!!! I am a soldier. Even death can’t destroy me. When my commander calls me from this battlefield, he will promote me, and I will reign with him. I am a soldier in this ARMY, and I am marching claiming victory. I will not give up or turn around. I am a soldier marching heaven bound, & here I stand…….. WILL YOU STAND WITH ME?
Rom.8:37-39 Nay, In all these things, we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the Love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Paul said in Eph. 6- We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
God wanted us to know therefore, that this “easy” Christian life, would not be so easy. We are more than conquerors, but there is still a fight. You’ve got to fight.
While in this fight, we need to keep our weapon at the ready position, locked and loaded, and ready to roll.
Is. 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgement thou shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.
Notice the end of this scripture said their righteousness is of me, We are in right standing through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, not by any thing that we did. How dare you think that you are any better than any one else, we are saved by grace.
Our righteousness is from God. Paul said to put on the breastplate of righteousness. Having a breastplate on protects your heart physically.

When we put on the fact that our heart is covered by the breastplate of his righteousness, it will protect our well being.
Phil. 4:6-7 Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer, and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
The peace of God which surpasses all understanding shall keep your heart, when you are in prayer, not in worry. Your heart will be protected when you are focused on God who is our solution, not focused on the problem.
A trick of the enemy is to try and deceive you to make you think that what you are going through, is your final destination. But I’m here to tell you do not confuse what you are going through, with where you are going to.
I may be down, but I’m not out. I’m coming out of this.
Fear is the enemy of faith, and the assassination of greatness. The enemy wants to keep you down and out, Jn. 10:10
The battlefield begins in our mind. The enemy attacks your mind when you are focused on the things of this earth.
Its important that we read on. That we look ahead. We walk by faith and not by sight. Faith sees beyond the circumstances. If we do not read on, then we will get stuck.
In this world you will have tribulation……………..but be of good cheer for I have overcome the world.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, ………but the lord will deliver them out of them all.
A thousand may fall at my left hand, and ten-thousand at my right, ……..but it shall not come near me.
The righteous man falls seven times………but he gets back up again. The only difference between the righteous man, and the unrighteous, is that when the righteous man falls, he gets back up again.
Keep on the firing line. I may have been a worthless sinner,……..but the Lord jesus saved me. I may have slipped up, but I have grace…..I may have been down, but I’m not out.
The bible tells us that we are not to be ignorant of the enemies devices. His very name means deceiver. Before going into a battle, it is vital that you know the tactics of your enemy.
The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God, through the pulling down of strongholds, the casting down of imaginations, and every high thing that exalts its self against the knowledge of God.
We have to have authority over our thought life. The enemy will attack your mind and tell you that you will not make it through.
Is. 59:19 When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.
I feel like fighting the devil tonight, he should have killed me when he had the chance, because it is too late now.
The bible tells us that none of the prices of this world knew, for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. When Christ was crucified, the enemy thought that he was getting rid of all of this talk of the Son of God. But what he did not realize, was that by crucifying the son of God, the end result would be millions more sons of God walking around with the same power as the one.
In the same way, What the enemy has meant for bad in your life, God is going to get something good out of. If the enemy had known that you were going to come through what you came through even more determined, then he would never have tried you the way he did.
When the enemy comes in, like a flood the spirit of the Lord will rise up a standard against him.
What you are going through right now is not a fleshly battle. This has nothing to do with you, but the power of God inside of you. It has everything to do with the calling that God has on your life.
Paul told Timothy to endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. This is saying, if you are truly a soldier, you will endure hardness. The key is to not fold up and quit in the middle of the battle. The righteous man falls down 7 times, but he gets back up again.
The key to victory in Christ, is to keep pressing. Not giving up, no matter what the odds are that are stacked against you. No matter what people say to you, or do to you, do not give up.
Paul said, that I may know him, and the power of his ressurection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable to his death, If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. 12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect, but I follow after, If that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brothers I count not myself to have apprehended, but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
We are talking about Paul, who is saying that I may know him. He said, I am a work in progress, and I am following after him.
The enemy will tell you that what you have done in the past, is the type of person that you are. Well the devil is a liar!!! Let God be true and every man a liar.
The moment that you knelt, the blood fell, and your sins are to no longer be remembered again. But you have to remain in the ready position. When you have done all to stand, stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness, and you feet shod with the gospel of the preparation of peace.
I am persuaded that neither life nor death……..nothing but sin can separate us. Nothing but a losing mental attitude, if you think your beat you are, if you think you care not you don’t …………..
