1.TRANSFORMATION

The Lord wants us to be transformed into the image of His Son Jesus Christ. We should follow the example of the Lord Jesus . We must pray like Christ who cried out to God to preserve His life until He fulfilled His mission on earth. We should learn obedience through the sufferings we go through. The Apostle Paul wanted to share the sufferings of Christ in order to know Christ. We can know the Lord intimately when have the fellowship of His sufferings as we can understand what He went through for our sake.

ROMANS 8:28-29

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.

HEBREWS 5:7-8

During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission.

Although he was a son, he learned obedience from what he suffered

JOHN 7:1,30

After this, Jesus went around in Galilee, purposely staying away from Judea because the Jews there were waiting to take his life.

At this they tried to seize him, but no one laid a hand on him, because his time had not yet come.

He spoke these words while teaching in the temple area near the place where the offerings were put. Yet no one seized him, because his time had not yet come.

PHILIPPIANS 3:10-14

I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death,

and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead.

Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.

Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,

I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

2.VICTORY

The Lord has predestined us , called us , justified us and glorified us. Therefore He is on our side and no enemy can prevail against us .The Lord who sacrificed His Son for us will surely grant us everything else that we need. He defends us against the accusations of the enemy. The Lord Jesus stands at the right hand of God interceding for us and bringing the blessings of God in our life and causing us to have victory in all our battles.

JEREMIAH 20:11-13

DEUTERONOMY 28:7

The LORD will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven.

No one will be able to stand up against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.

3. CONFIDENCE

The Lord is our refuge and strength and an ever present help in trouble. Therefore we need not fear even when we face major shakings in our life . Our foundations may be shaken . Our friends may forsake us . Our sources of strength on which we may have relied in the past may be withdrawn from us. But we must continue to trust in the Lord. The Lord will fight our battles and makes wars to cease . We must rest in the Lord and see His mighty deliverance. The Lord will hear our cry and remember all our sacrifices and obedience unto Him and bless us accordingly .We must stay close to the Lord and rest in the shadow of the Almighty to enjoy all His blessings in our life.

It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man.

PSALM 20:1-9

May the LORD answer you when you are in distress; may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.

HEBREWS 6:10

God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.

2 KINGS 20:1-6

In those days Hezekiah became ill and was at the point of death. The prophet Isaiah son of Amoz went to him and said, "This is what the LORD says: Put your house in order, because you are going to die; you will not recover."

Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the LORD,

"Remember, O LORD, how I have walked before you faithfully and with wholehearted devotion and have done what is good in your eyes." And Hezekiah wept bitterly.

Before Isaiah had left the middle court, the word of the LORD came to him:

"Go back and tell Hezekiah, the leader of my people, ’This is what the LORD, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will heal you. On the third day from now you will go up to the temple of the LORD.

I will add fifteen years to your life. And I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria. I will defend this city for my sake and for the sake of my servant David.’ "

PSALM 91:1-16

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."

Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.

He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day,

nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.

A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.

You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.

4. PRAISE

We must praise and worship the Lord and rejoice in Him . As we praise and worship the Lord , we will experience the divine intervention of the Lord in our battles. The Lord will grant justice to us and enforce judgement on the wicked. The Lord is the King of glory . He is strong and mighty in battle.

PSALM 149 :1-9

PSALM 24:1-10

The earth is the LORD’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it;

Who may ascend the hill of the LORD ? Who may stand in his holy place?

He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to an idol or swear by what is false.

He will receive blessing from the LORD and vindication from God his Savior.

Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, O God of Jacob. Selah

Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.

5. HOLINESS

We must fulfill the will of God for our lives. The Lord wants us to become like Christ. We must reflect His nature in our lives. We must warn the idle and help the weak and be patient. We must do good to others and be full of joy and prayer and thanksgiving . The Lord wants to sanctify us completely in our spirit , soul and body.

1 THESSALONIANS 5:14-24

And we urge you, brothers, warn those who are idle, encourage the timid, help the weak, be patient with everyone.

Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always try to be kind to each other and to everyone else.

give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Do not put out the Spirit’s fire;

do not treat prophecies with contempt.

Test everything. Hold on to the good.

Avoid every kind of evil.

The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it.

6. JOY

The Lord wants us to rejoice in Him always . We should not worry but cast all our care on the Lord through prayer and we will enjoy the peace of God in our life. We must learn to be content in whatever state we are in . We can do all things through

Christ who strenghtens us.

I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.

I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

7. LOVE

The Lord wants us to have a pure love towards each other . We should serve the Lord with zeal .We should have hope in the Lord and be patient in affliction and be faithful in prayer. We should help those in need and share the joys and sorrows of others. We should remain humble and do good even to our enemies. We must leave revenge into the hands of God who is the God of justice.

1 CORINTHIANS 13:4-7

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
