THE CHURCH OF TRANSITION Joshua 1:1-9
Introduction:
. The word transition means the passing from one
condition, place, or activity to another.
. From the lukewarm to the hot; from death to life
. From the passive to the active.
. From the talk to the walk; from lack to abundance
. From mediocrity to action;from meetings to ministry
. From the mechanical to the Spirit moving
. This is what the nation of Israel was about to do
. From the wilderness to the wonderful. They were about
to cross over the Jordan River into the promised land
. We need some, not traditional churches (existing,
making do, surviving, status quo)but some
transitional churches that will make a difference
and cross over for Christ.
. What will we need to do?
1.Don’t be DISTRACTED by the PAST (v.1-2a)
. Moses is dead!

. One man said,"No matter how hard the past,you can
always begin again today".
2.Don’t be DEAF to His PROMPTINGS (v.2b)
. Arise and go!

. Inheritance, prosperity and good success!
