God wants to be the one in whom “we live and move and have our being. Acts 17:28
Jesus taught us to pray. The Lord’s Prayer while very familiar is not just a prayer but according to Max Lacado, a model for living.

Hallowed be thy name
Thy Kingdom come
Thy will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.

1. Ephesians 1:3-5
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. In love He predestined us to be adopted as His sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will—“
2. because he wanted to.
3. The adoption is final and forever
Romans 8:38-39 “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
