Jan & I took his wife home & stayed with her till her sister got there
I WENT OUTSIDE INTO HIS BARNS- SHEDS- HIS GARDEN- HIS TRUCK-HIS MOWERS
SAT ON HIS TRACTOR- PET HIS DOG – SAT IN HIS CHAIR
THEY DIDN’T REALIZE I WAS NOT HIM
HE WAS GONE TO HEAVEN & ALL HIS THINGS ARE LEFT BEHIND
BURR NEVER DREAMED THAT MORNING ON THE WEDNESDAY BEFORE THAT WOULD BE HIS LAST TIME HE WOULD SEE HIS HOME AND THINGS AS HE FLEW IN THE AIRVACT
JAN & HIS WIFE SAT AT HIS SIDE ON THE FRIDAY NIGHT BERFORE
SPIRITS UP DOING GOOD

1)WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT LIFE:
a)We know that God is the Author of Life
Genesis 1:26-27 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
I don’t know about you- I look like God & not a monkey
I walk on 2 legs & have a brain to think
A heart to love & a will to make decisions
b)We know that God preserves life.
Psalms 36:6 Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep:O LORD, thou preservest man and beast.
God keeps & cares for us
c)We know that life is in the hands of God.
Job 12:10 In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.
No matter where I go I know the Lord is with me
No matter what I go thru the Lord is there
No matter the trail he is there
Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said,
I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
In Psalms 139: The bible speaks of these things

d)We know that life is forfeited by sin.

2)LIFE IS DESCRIBED AS BEING:
a)The Bible says our life is Vain.
Ecclesiastes 1:2 Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity.
ALL IS VANITY THE BIBLE SAYS ALL!!!
Vain means: Empty; worthless; having no substance, value or importance.
Ecclesiastes 6:12 For who knoweth what is good for man in this life, all the days of his vain life which he spendeth as a shadow? for who can tell a man what shall be after him under the sun?
b)The Bible says our life is Limited.
Limited means: Bounded; restrained, Narrow; circumscribed.
Our views of nature are very limited.
Job 14:5 Seeing his days are determined, the number of his months are with thee, thou hast appointed his bounds that he cannot pass
My powers, my strength & my abilities are limited
Even my love is limited
c)The Bible says Life is short.
Not extended in time; not of long duration.
Psalms 89:47 Remember how short my time is: wherefore hast thou made all men in vain?
In the Bible, Methuselah lived to be 969 years old (Genesis 5:27).
Yet the Bible says life is like vapor (James 4:14). It appears, then vanishes away.
Psalm 90 In(vs. 4&5) portrays life as a short sleep passing quickly
In (vs. 6) as grass that grows & is cut down
In (vs. 9) as the story is told it’s soon over
What is the avg. Life span today maybe 70
What is that to eternity?
WE NEED TO LEARN TO SERVE GOD NOW WHILE WE CAN
WIN AS MANY AS WE CAN BEFORE IT’S TO LATE
WE ARE NOT PROMISED TOMORROW
TODAY IS THE DAY TO SERVE HIM
d)The Bible sees our life as being Uncertain.
Proverbs 27:1 Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.
MY SON – MY MOM – MY DAD
People you have known
THEY WERE ALIVE & WELL ONE DAY THE NEXT DAY GONE
WE ARE NOT PROMISED A TOMORROW
Not just death But life itself changes it is uncertain
Job had everything 1 day the next everything gone
Remember to tell each other daily you love each other for we have no promise of tomorrow
When they are gone they can’t hear it
But you will live the rest of your life with how you treated them
The Bible says our life is Full of trouble.
Job 14:1 Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble.
Job 3:26 I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came.
Psalms 78:33 Therefore their days did he consume in vanity, and their years in trouble.
Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
NO ONE TAUGHT ME HOW TO GET INTO TROUBLE IT CAME NATURAL
I CAME OUT SREAMING & KICKING & SO DID YOU

3)WHAT IS THE Value of LIFE;
a)man’s value on life:
Job 2:4 And Satan answered the LORD, and said, Skin for skin, yea,all that a man hath will he give for his life.
This means: By this he means that a man’s own skin is dearer to him than another man’
IT’S ALL ABOUT HIMSELF - NO ONE ELSE
IT’S THE I PROBLEM- LIVE FOR SELF- INSTEAD OF OTHERS
LIVE FOR SELF INSTEAD OF THE LORD
b)God’s value on life:
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
“For God so loved” This is a Love that can not be described
His only son – he gave for us
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
If only one PERSON had ever been born
I believe JESUS still would have DIED FOR THAT ONE PERSON
Then His love continues EVEN After all the suffering & the pain
The blood shed (no little spot like the pictures there was a lot of blood shed)- the wounds (mention some)
Jesus went to hell for us according to Matthew 12:40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
Then He said He was going to prepare a place for us John 14:1-3 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

That’s placing a value on us

A.IN The fear of God.

B.IN The service of God.

C.IN Living unto God.
Romans 14:8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s.

D.IN PRAISING HIM
