VIDEO: “GIFT OF WORSHIP” (WWW.SERMONSPICE.COM)

Worship IS a huge thing!

And it’s NOT about us!

It IS all about giving our lives to the Lord!

‘Light of the World, You stepped down into darkness. Opened my eyes let me see. Beauty that made this heart adore You. Hope of a life spent with You.’

WORSHIP ALWAYS COMES OUT OF A RESPONSE TO A REVELATION!

Abraham had a REVELATION – God CAN DO what He says He CAN DO!

…he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving GLORY to God,

Romans 4:20b

GAVE GLORY FIRST! THANKED HIM FIRST! IN ADVANCE!

ABRAHAM SAID…”HERE I AM TO WORSHIP!”…

…TRUSTING…BEFORE HE SAW GOD WORK!!!

HE TRUSTED THE PROMISE!

Giving GLORY TO GOD is easy once you’ve seen what the Lord HAS done….but do we give WORSHIP HIM trusting in His promises, BEFORE He works???

Richard Foster says, “Worship is our RESPONSE to the overtures of love from the heart of the Father”

When Jesus walked the earth, people RESPONDED to Him because in some way he’d touched them and REVEALED something of his heart for them.

• healing of a blind man

• the raising of the dead

• the loving of the unlovable

• or simply the offer of friendship

Jesus REVEALED His love and power to us on earth. For those who encountered Jesus and whose eyes had been opened, their RESPONSE was to ACKNOWLEDGE Him as Lord.

Even the centurion at the foot of the cross said, “Surely this man was the Son of God!” (Mark 15:39)

‘King of all days, Oh so highly exalted. Glorious in Heaven above.

Humbly You came to the earth You created. All for love’s sake became poor.’

Despite this however, sometimes it can be so EASY TO LOSE THE WONDER OF IT ALL. We can get so familiar with the story of the cross and the very fact that Jesus gave up everything to walk on the earth, that we LOSE THE MYSTERY!

G.K. Chesterton said, “Sometimes our religion is ‘more a theory than a love affair.’”

When we really think about it, the life of Jesus is totally amazing. He was in very nature God enjoying all the glory and splendor of Heaven. Yet so that we could receive His mercy and know eternal life, He humbled Himself and made Himself nothing. He even became obedient to death on a cross. (Philippians 2:6-11) That is truly amazing!

So here I am to worship, here I am to bow down.

Here I am to say that You’re my God.

You’re altogether lovely, altogether worthy.

Altogether wonderful to me.

When we take time to REALLY consider the sacrifice Jesus took upon himself for our sake, AND I’M GOING TO GIVE YOU A CHANCE TO DO THAT TODAY WHEN WE TAKE COMMUNION TOGETHER, and allow the mystery of it to sink in to our hearts, the RESPONSE WILL BE WORSHIP AND IT WILL SHOW ON THE OUTSIDE!!!! YOU WILL SAY, WITH YOUR ENTIRE BODY….HERE I AM TO WORSHIP!!!

Like the sinful lady who poured out a years wages worth of perfume over Jesus’ feet, because of the new hope she had of spending a life with Him in eternity, so too will we want to pour out our HEARTS IN WORSHIP!

We need to return once again to consider the cost of Jesus’ life and remind ourselves of the wonder of it all…

AND AGAIN, WE WILL TAKE THE TIME DO THAT TODAY AS WE COME AROUND THE LORD’S TABLE!

NOW GOD MADE US ALL UNIQUE!...we RESPOND differently to almost everthing, including our WORSHIP RESPONSES to God!

Not here to judge what’s going on in anyone’s heart by what’s going on in their outward appearance. But WITH THAT SAID….

THE BIBLE does have some things to say about HOW we should worship!

These PHYSICAL RESPONSES OF WORSHIP should SUPERCEDE all our personalities & preferences!

Here’s WHY…I don’t find these RESPONSES in Scripture as suggestions…but as COMMANDS!

AND THESE COMMANDS ARE FOR OUR EVERY DAY LIVES, NOT JUST WHAT WE DO HERE TOGETHER AT CHURCH!

WORSHIP IS A LIFESTYLE!

WORSHIP IS WHOLEHEARTED, PASSIONATE ADORATION OF OUR CREATOR & REDEEMER!

Let’s look at some of the ways we should RESPOND:

I. HERE I AM TO CLAP MY HANDS!

* Psalm 47:1 Clap your hands, all peoples; Shout to God with the voice of joy!

Psalm 98:8 Let the rivers clap their hands, Let the mountains sing together for joy!

CLAPPING YOUR HANDS is COMMANDED in the Bible! Shhhh….don’t tell anyone! 

WE NEED TO SHOW GOD OUR APPRECIATION BY APPLAUDING HIM!

WE NEED TO SHOW OUR EXCITEMENT FOR WHAT HE IS DOING IN OUR LIVES!

Here’s your chance to APPLAUD GOD…ready for this YEAH GOD?...my son, Randy Jr. preached his first sermon last Sunday!…..to the Junior Highers!….and lead 3 of them into a personal relationshiop with Jesus Christ! THREE!!!

II. HERE I AM TO LIFT MY HANDS!

Bible IMPLORES us to LIFT UP OUR HANDS to God in WORSHIP!

* Psalm 28:2 Hear the voice of my supplications when I cry to You for help,

When I lift up my hands toward Your holy sanctuary.

* Psalm 63:4 So I will bless You as long as I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.

* Psalm 134:2 Lift up your hands in the sanctuary And bless the LORD.

Psalm 141:2 May my prayer be counted as incense before You; The lifting up of my hands as the evening offering.

Lamentations 3:41 We lift up our heart and hands toward God in heaven;

I Timothy 2:8 Therefore I want the men in every place to pray, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and dissension.

Why LIFT OUR HANDS?....communicates so many different things…

Saved when I was 7...Five Day Club in the park through Child Evangelism…Bethany Baptist Church…CONSERVATIVE Baptist….women couldn’t even wear pants…only raised your hand if had question and that was in Sunday School, NOT in worship service…I had to LEARN to raise my hands! Later as an adult…Kingdom Seekers Home Group…Jeff & Kim Etcheverry…Assemblies of God…Sunday Nights…Wow! Know how to worship!

Raised hands = RICH with meaning!

i.e. watch any football game or ANY sport….when a touchdown is made, a home run is scored, a goal is made or an athlete pulls off something heroic on the field..what’s IMMEDIATE response? HANDS SHOOT UP! NATURAL PHYSICAL SIGN = someone has WON and you’re HAPPY about it. Don’t have to think! Just REACH FOR THE SKY!

i.e. Ron & Dena & I to Hockey Game in Stockton! Don’t even like hockey! 

i.e. your watching COPS…police finally capture the shirtless drunk…he sees what’s about to go down…and UP GO HIS HANDS! = Universal sign of SURRENDER!

How much more in WORSHIP do we express our JOY in surrender to Jesus and His Lordship of our lives! JESUS WON THE ULTIMATE VICTORY OVER DEATH!

i.e. small child when Mom or Dad comes home after being gone all day….UP GO THEIR LITTLE HANDS!

i.e. even my dog Buddy throws up his front paws as he jumps on me when I come home!

HOW MUCH MORE is our JOY to hold out our arms for our HEAVENLY FATHER to pick us up…to hold us in His eternal arms!

i.e. SPIRIT WEST COAST…or any rock or country music concert….people REACHING, PLEADING, WAVING, HOPING WITH OUTSTRETCHED HANDS toward the star onstage….fans would give ANYTHING for just a touch from their favorite star! Sadly, star onstage doesn’t have much to give in return for all that desire, a song and a good time maybe.

But our FAMOUS GOD has EVERYTHING to give! He holds out LIFE for the taking! ETERNAL LIFE!

HOW MUCH MORE should we LIFT OUR HANDS to Him?

LET ME SEE YOU LIFT YOUR HANDS AND CHEER!!!!

III. HERE I AM TO BOW FACE DOWN!

Psalm 72:11 And let all kings bow down before him, All nations serve him.

* Psalm 95:6 Come, let us worship and bow down, Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker.

* Psalm 138:2 I will bow down toward Your holy temple And give thanks to Your name for Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word according to all Your name.

BOWING DOWN = Beautiful picture of expressing SUBORDINATION and RESPECT!

We just don’t WORSHIP someone we think we’re bigger or more important than!

Why = BOWING is the RIGHT POSITION for us before almighty God!

* John 4:21 Jesus is talking to the woman at the well…Jesus said to her, "Woman, believe Me, an hour is coming when neither in this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father.

* Gk. “Worship” = “BOW DOWN and kiss the feet of a king!” Wow!

Unlike in England (right Liz?) or the Orient, USA = can’t relate to having a King or Queen as a ruler. Never had a good model of this behavior. Americans don’t BOW before our President!

But consider your POSITION before the Lord!

When was last time you BOWED FACEDOWN to the ground in ADORATION of and REVERENCE for Him? Don’t mean a little nod in the right direction or bowing your head in prayer, but FACE AND BODY DOWN – in COMPLETE, REVERENTIAL SURRENDER before ALMIGHTY GOD???

i.e. for me personally, when I’m worshipping, there are times when I feel suddenly OVERCOME with the realization of WHO it is I am singing to, of how GREAT IS OUR GOD, and how SMALL and UNWORTHY I am to make even a sound in His presence! That’s when I am prone to FALL TO MY KNEES! NOT FOR A SHOW…but the TRUTH takes me DOWN to size!

To WORSHIP FACEDOWN is the ULTIMATE OUTWARD sign of INNER REVERENCE!

Like CLAPPING YOUR HANDS and LIFTING YOUR HANDS, FACEDOWN WORSHIP always begins as a POSTURE of the HEART. It’s when we are so DESPERATE for the INCREASE of Christ in our lives that we find ourselves DECREASING to the ground in an act of REVERENT SUBMISSION.

When you’re so CAPTIVATED by Almighty God, to BOW FACEDOWN in true and total SURRENDER is the only appropriate PHYSICAL RESPONSE!

Bible = glimpses into heaven = whole lot of FACEDOWN worship goin’ on!

* Revelation 1:17 When I saw Him, I fell at His feet like a dead man

* Revelation 7:11 And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures; and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God,

Ezekiel 1:28 As the appearance of the rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the surrounding radiance Such was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD And when I saw it, I fell on my face and heard a voice speaking.

Daniel 10:15 When he had spoken to me according to these words, I turned my face toward the ground and became speechless.

WHEN IT COMES TO WORSHIP…

…THE THRONE SETS THE TONE!

When we come to church, we don’t just come into this Performing Arts Center – we JOURNEY to the very THRONE OF GOD!

All through the Bible = host of FACEDOWN WORSHIPPERS:

Abram Genesis 17:3

Moses & Aaron Numbers 20:6

King David 1 Chronicles 21:16

Peter, James & John Matthew 17:6

***WHEN YOU FACE UP TO GOD’S GLORY, YOU FIND YOURSELF FACEDOWN IN WORSHIP!

ONE DAY… WE WILL ALL FIND OURSELVES FACEDOWN IN THE WORSHIP OF JESUS… EVERY WILLING AND UNWILLING KNEE BOWED IN HUMILITY!

I BELIEVE…IT WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE TO STAND UP THAT DAY!

IV. HERE I AM TO BE STILL BEFORE HIM!

* Ecclesiastes 5:2,7 Do not be quick with your mouth, do not be hasty in your heart to utter anything before God. God is in heaven and you are on earth, so let your words be few. Much dreaming and many words are meaningless. Therefore stand in awe of God.

* Psalm 46:10 “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."

Psalm 65:8 They who dwell in the ends of the earth stand in awe of Your signs;

You make the dawn and the sunset shout for JOY!

How many times do we just flippantly, and LATE I might ad, walk into the worship service and begin singing or even praying with little thought beforehand?

See…I always thought church could be SO MUCH BETTER if we came to BRING our tithes and offerings, to bring our THANKS, to CELEBRATE God’s faithfulness, to PRAISE Him for His provision…and pretty much SHUT UP about EVERYTHING ELSE!

That’s the church I want to be a part of…the one that ENTERS READY TO MEET WITH GOD!

Won’t happen without STILLNESS and QUIETNESS of soul!

Our world is so LOUD! TV! INTERNET! RADIO! Ipods! TRAFFIC! CELL PHONES (EVEN IN CHURCH)! MUZAK! INTERCOMS! And the list goes on!...CONSTANT VOLUME OF NOTHINGNESS!

SOUNDS become a BARRIER between us and God, between us and other people, between us our surroundings!

We REALLY don’t know HOW to be quiet…how do we expect to HEAR anything from God in all the NOISE?

When was the last time you quieted your world and just STOOD IN AWE of God?

Not very often, but we HAVE had moments of silence in our worship services = AWKWARD! Even in church, we don’t know how to slow down and listen! Even our worship services and Christian events are filled with NOISE! We’re so afraid of DEAD SPACE. We’re afraid of SILENCE!

But there’s POWER in SILENCE! Letting the thought of what we’ve just sang about SINK DEEPLY into our HEARTS, SOULS and MINDS!

*Sometimes, ABSOLUTE SILENCE can be our GREATEST act of WORSHIP!

* Revelation 8:1 tells us of a holy silence in the WORSHIP of heaven: When the Lamb broke the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.

WE HAVE GOT TO MARK OUT MOMENTS FOR STILLNESS AND REFLECTION IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD!

IT’S IN HIS PRESENCE, THAT WE STILL OUR HEARTS, AND SILENCE OUR TONGUE, IN WONDER AND REVERENCE BEFORE A HOLY GOD!

THESE MOMENTS OF STILLNESS TAKE US EVEN DEEPER INTO HIM – CREATING ESSENTIAL SPACE FOR US TO HEAR THE VERY VOICE OF GOD!

* Habakkuk (2:20) declares,”But the LORD is in His holy temple, Let all the earth be SILENT before Him."

? = IS THE AMBIENT NOISE LEVEL OF OUR LIVES LOW ENOUGH FOR US TO HEAR THE WHISPERS OF THE LORD?

See…WHETHER ALONE, OR TOGETHER AS A WORSHIP COMMUNITY…WE HAVE GOT TO LEARN TO LISTEN FOR HIM – IN THE SOUND OF SHEER SILENCE.

You WILL get an opportunity to do this today when we go into our time of Worship and Communion!

Now to the totally OPPOSITE response…..

V. HERE I AM TO SHOUT FOR JOY!

In other words…making A LOT of NOISE!

Psalm 27:6 And now my head will be lifted up above my enemies around me, And I will offer in His tent sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the LORD!

* Psalm 32:11 Be glad in the LORD and rejoice, you righteous ones; And shout for joy, all you who are upright in heart.

Psalm 33:3 Sing to Him a new song; Play skillfully with a shout of joy.

* Psalm 35: 1 O clap your hands, all peoples; Shout to God with the voice of joy.

Psalm 35:27 Let them shout for joy and rejoice, who favor my vindication; And let them say continually, "The LORD be magnified, Who delights in the prosperity of His servant."

Psalm 65:12-13 The pastures of the wilderness drip, And the hills gird themselves with rejoicing. The meadows are clothed with flocks And the valleys are covered with grain; They shout for joy, yes, they sing.

* Psalm 66:1 Shout joyfully to God, all the earth;

Psalm 71:23 My lips will shout for joy when I sing praises to You; And my soul, which You have redeemed.

* Psalm 81:1 Sing for joy to God our strength; Shout joyfully to the God of Jacob.

* Psalm 95:1-2 Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation! Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving, Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.

Psalm 98:4,6 Shout joyfully to the LORD, all the earth; Break forth and sing for joy and sing praises. With trumpets and the sound of the horn. Shout joyfully before the King, the LORD.

* Psalm 100:1 Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth!

Psalm 118:15 The sound of joyful shouting and salvation is in the tents of the righteous;

Psalm 126: 2 Then our mouth was filled with laughter And our tongue with joyful shouting; Then they said among the nations, "The LORD has done great things for them."

Psalm 145: 7 They shall eagerly utter the memory of Your abundant goodness And will shout joyfully of Your righteousness.

YOU GET THE PICTURE HERE?

* Gk. “shout” = rü•ah’ to shout, raise a sound, cry out, give a blast!!!

Over and over…ALL OF CREATION makes A LOT of noise in PRAISE TO GOD!

It’s a WORSHIP CELEBRATION that’s going on ALL THE TIME!

* Luke 19: 39 Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, "Teacher, rebuke your disciples!" "I tell you," he replied, "if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out."

SHOUTING as an act of WORSHIP may be a stretch for some of you! But aren’t there times when you just couldn’t keep something WONDERFUL inside? You KNOW the feeling!

i.e. When YOUR kid makes the winning touchdown or homerun or goal! WHEN YOUR senior’s name is read at graduation! When Jordin Sparks wins American Idol! (Oh!) When your favorite song is sung at a concert!

Or….When you watch someone get baptized, at least at Rock Point’s Baptism Services!  When we share a YEAH GOD story!

INCREDIBLE JOY can make you behave strangely too! Jumping up and down! Shouting! Screaming! Clapping your hands! Going wild! And HONEST WORSHIP should sometimes too!!!!

When God is TRULY your JOY…He calls for A LOT of noise!

* As BOWING FACEDOWN is the WOE of worship, a JOYFUL SHOUT is the WOW of WORSHIP!

What makes ya SHOUT? Let me here ya SHOUT!!!

OKAY…LAST ONE!!!

VI. HERE I AM TO DANCE!

* Ecclesiastes 3:1,4 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven: a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance,

YES! DANCING IS IN THE BIBLE!!! 

? = Is WORSHIP one of those times to DANCE? Let’s think about it!

Let’s see what scripture says…

Remember OT story when David celebrates the return of the ark of the covenant (the symbol of God’s presence) to Jerusalem. Here’s what David did….

* 2 Samuel 6:14-15 And David was dancing before the LORD with all his might, and David was wearing a linen ephod. So David and all the house of Israel were bringing up the ark of the LORD with shouting and the sound of the trumpet.

David = HEART was SO GRATEFUL for what God was doing that he couldn’t NOT move! He HAD to dance!

And he didn’t just sway or shuffle! He “danced with all his might!”

might: ‘oze’ 1) might, strength; from root word ‘azaz’ 1) to be strong!

He didn’t just move his feet a little, he DANCED with EVERYTHING nuts!!!

I can imagine, it went something like this…

Even later when his wife scolded him later for embarrassing her in public, David defiantly said….

21b-22a “ I WILL celebrate before the LORD. "I WILL be more UNDIGNIFIED than this!

THAT is the HEART of a worshiper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even though David was King, he was ready to humble himself in public TO MAKE GOD FAMOUS!

Of course, don’t know HOW WELL David danced. After all, he did embarrass his wife! 

WORSHIPING THROUGH DANCE is NOT about having smooth moves or even a great sense of rhythm (right Doug?)!

It’s NOT about how we LOOK at all! LIKE THE OTHER PHYSICAL RESONSES, DANCING BEFORE GOD is about our HEART!

Some of you worry about your “status” or looking cool, but those human desires can get in the way of FULL EXPRESSION IN WORSHIP!

TRUTH: nothing about looking cool & TRULY WORSHIPPING Jesus goes together!

HOWEVER you SING it, SHOUT it, BOW it or DANCE it, it’s NOT a cool thing today to give FULL-ON APPLAUSE and GLORY TO GOD!

It’s like praying over your food in public – you WILL risk looking cool!

WORSHIP CALLS FOR THAT KIND OF ABANDONMENT TO THE FULL JOY OF GOD’S PRESENCE!!!

God is looking for the “Davids” – the folks who are WILLING to put aside what the person next to them might think and….SIMPLY EXPRESS TO GOD JUST HOW THANKFUL THEY ARE TO BE IN HIS PRESENCE!!!!!

CONCLUSION: As the band comes back out…..

* WORSHIP IS OUR HIGHEST CALLING!

There’s NOTHING more important that we can do in this life!

John Piper, from our sister church, Bethlehem Baptist Church, Minneapolis:

“Missions is not the ultimate goal of the church. WORSHIP IS! Missions exists because worship doesn’t. Worship is ultimate, not missions, because God is ultimate, not man. When the age is over, and countless millions of the redeemed fall on their faces before the throne of God, missions will be no more. It is a temporary necessity. But WORSHIP abides forever.”

When that day comes…when we behold the Lord in all His glory…we WILL WORSHIP and PRAISE Him forever!

Because…that’s WHAT WE WERE MADE FOR!

We’ve been designed by God for this SOLE purpose! It is our duty and JOY to worship God!

In Matthew 22:36-38, when Jesus was asked,”Teacher, which is the greatest commandement in the Law?” He said, “Love the Lord your God with ALL your heart and with ALL your soul and with ALL your MIND. This is the first and greatest commandment.”

MARY & MARTHA (Luke 10:38-42) - why Jesus REJOICED so in Mary’s response to Him! She didn’t give her offerings of prepared food or gifts; instead she gave ALL she had – herself.

This is the WORSHIP Jesus requires!

Singing songs to God isn’t enough; that in itself is NOT worship!

WORSHIP involves offering to God ALL that we are and ALL that we’ll be – offering our HEART, SOUL and MIND….

…NO MATTER OUR CIRCUMSTANCES!!!

WORSHIP IS GIVING HIM OUR LIVES…OVER AND OVER AGAIN!

* Paul says in Romans 12:1, “ Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of WORSHIP!”

* WORSHIP IS OUR ALL-CONSUMING PHYSICAL RESPONSE TO GOD…FIRST!

THEN WHAT POURS OUT OF THAT IS LOVING OTHERS & SERVING OTHERS!

See…ultimately, it’s NOT about music, singing songs, being loud, being quiet! It’s NOT about how many people are here! It’s NOT about amplified or acoustic, contemporary or traditional! It’s NOT even what you do with your hands or feet!

WORSHIP IS ALL ABOUT JESUS! IT’S ABOUT JESUS!!!

When He is YOUR Lord, then you WILL RESPOND “in spirit and in truth.”

John 4:24 "God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."

No matter HOW you express it….TRUE WORSHIP will ALWAYS set you in MOTION toward the object of your affection – God Himself!

* Because….YOU & I WERE MADE TO WORSHIP!

Here’s the deal, though….Our OUTWARD EXPRESSIONS are a picture of our HEART!

If you squeeze an orange, out will come orange juice. If you squeeze your heart, what will flow out?

Love for yourself? A band? A sports team? A girlfriend? A boyfriend? Your PASSION for Jesus?

We ALL worship! ? = who or what will we worship?

Worship money, become a greedy person! Worship sex, become a lustful person! Worship power, become a corrupt person! Worship drugs & alcohol, become an addict! Worship people, become codependent!

Worship Jesus, become like HIM!

? = What do does YOUR heart look like right now? What’s flowing out of it?

When you truly SEE Jesus and when your HEART truly comprehends His LIFE-CHANGING LOVE…you can’t contain yourself!

WHEN WE BEHOLD THE LORD IN ALL HIS GLORY, WE WILL WORSHIP AND PRAISE HIM FOREVER. THAT IS WHAT WE WERE CREATED FOR!

See…it’s IT’S OUT OF THE OVERFLOW OF OUR HEART THAT WE CLAP OUR HANDS AND LIFT OUR HANDS AND BOW FACEDOWN AND BE STILL IN SILENCE AND SHOUT FOR JOY AND DANCE!

GOD REVEALS, WE RESOND! GOD SHINES, WE REFLECT!

Are you ready to DECLARE – and to SHOW – the same longing as the Israelites who said in Isaiah 26:8, “YOUR NAME AND YOUR RENOWN ARE THE DESIRE OF OUR SOULS!”

ARE YOU?????

As we go into a time of WORSHIP and taking COMMUNION…I have a few questions for you…

With a HEART celebrating what He’s done in your life, will you CLAP YOUR HANDS?

With a HEART stretched out high in praise of the worth of the One being exalted, will you LIFT YOUR HANDS?

With a HEART humbled and amazed by the glory of God, will you BOW FACEDOWN?

With a HEART reflecting on His Majesty and Power, will you BE STILL in His presence?

With a HEART overflowing with gladness for how GREAT IS OUR GOD, will you SHOUT FOR JOY?

With a grateful HEART pointing in adoration to the source of your JOY, will you DANCE in total ABANDONED celebration?

LET’S PRAY….Lord, if there is one thing that should cause us to RESOND IN WORSHIP, that is the REVELATION of what YOU did for us on the cross! As we take this bread, representing your body, and drink this cup, representing your blood, may we RESPOND UNASHAMEDLY and with TOTAL ABANDONED! May our HEARTS overflow because of your unconditional love and mercy and grace! We thank you, Lord, for what you HAVE done, and we GIVE YOUR GLORY, God, for what you WILL do! WE LOVE YOU!.....HERE WE ARE LORD…TO WORSHIP!!!!
