But the following is only the best try considering all the details and facts as we know it in this year at such a time as this.

AND RIGHT BEFORE GOD TELLS US THE END OF THE STORY…HE GOES BACK TO THE BEGINNING. UNBELIEVABLE! HE EXPLAINS WHAT HAPPENED TO LUCIFER, IN THE BEGINNING OF TIME, EVEN BEFORE ADAM EVER WALKED THE EARTH.
A. BIBLE VERSE: Revelation 12:7-9
And there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth and his angels with him.
What did Satan do to get kicked out of heaven? Okay, we got that, Lucifer caused a Civil War in heaven, and his punishment was being sent to Earth. So what did Satan do on Earth?
SATAN’S 1ST ATTEMPT: ATTACK GOD IN HEAVEN
B. BIBLE VERSE: Revelation 12:13-14
When the dragon saw that he had been hurled to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child. The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the desert, where she would be taken care…
Who is the woman (get some answers here)? The woman stands for Israel, the Jews, God’s Chosen people. Since God was out of reach and untouchable, Satan turns his wrath on the remnant of faithful believers on the Earth, and once again the Devil is unsuccessful. So what is his next step?
SATAN’S 2ND ATTEMPT: ATTACK GOD’S CHOSEN PEOPLE (THE JEWS)
C. BIBLE VERSE: Revelation 12:17
Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to make war against the rest of her offspring—those who obey God’s commands and hold to the testimony of Jesus.
Who are the woman’s offspring? Yup, the offspring are those who hold to the testimony of Jesus. And who is that, the believers. That’s us. So since Jesus died on the cross (and to be quite honest, probably much before that), Satan and his fallen angels have went on to attack Christians, and that has been apparent for centuries!
SATAN’S 3RD ATTEMPT: ATTACK GOD’S BELIEVERS (CHRISTIANS)
But, now…the Christians are gone. The two witnesses have ascended. There are 144,000 somewhere in hiding that have God’s hand of protection, but that is it. So what is Satan to do now (a little discussion here)?
His goal is to fight…God again. That is what he has wanted ever since he had been excommunicated out of heaven. He knows Christ is coming back again, and he wants to be ready for another battle.
SATAN’S FINAL ATTEMPT: MAKE THE WORLD WORSHIP HIM (NOT GOD)
BACK TRACK:
We have seen that Russia (Magog, Gog) made an alliance with some type of Arab Confederation (Put, Cush) and made an unsuccessful attack towards the Middle East. Then the Red Army led by the King of the East and their 200 Million man army (China) have made a move eastward, and now are going to form an alliance with one more so-called great empire.
D. BIBLE VERSE: Revelation 13:1-5 (Attributes of the Beast):
And he stood on the sand of the seashore. And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. He had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on his horns, and on each head I blasphemous name. The beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion. The dragon gave the beast the power and his throne and great authority. One of the heads of the beast seemed to have a fatal wound, but the fatal wound had been healed. The whole world was astonished and followed the beast. Men worshipped the dragon because he had authority to the beast, and they also worshiped the beast and asked, “Who is like the beast? Who can make war against him. The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise his authority for forty-two months.
Attributes of the Beast
1. He will be a gentile (Rev 13:15; Dan 7).
2. Specifically, he will be from the old Roman Empire (Dan 9:27).
3. Politically, he will become the dictator of the revived imperial Roman empire of the last half of the Tribulation (Rev 13, Dan 9:27; 7:8).
4. He is under the direct control of Satan and is Satan possessed (2 Thes 2:9; Rev 13:2). He is called the beast because Satan, the dragon is his master.
5. He rises to power because of fear, the people cry peace and safety (Dan 8:25, 1 Thes 5:3, Rev 6:2, Dan 9:27). Most likely the fear of any single political issue: nuclear holocaust, population explosion, environmental destruction, food prices, anything like that, who knows. But people will be crying for help (could it also be that everything is just fine, but because people want more and more and more, maybe their crying out for help because they simply want more).
6. His apparent death and resurrection followed by his rise to power as emperor of the revived Roman empire will astound the world (Rev 13:3).
E. BIBLE VERSE: Revelation 13:11-15 (The False Prophet):
Then I saw another beast coming out of the earth. He had two horns like a lamb, but he spoke like a dragon. He exercised all the authority of the first beast on his behalf, and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed. And he performed great and miraculous signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to earth in full view of men. Because of the signs he was given power to do on behalf of the first beast, he deceived the inhabitants of the earth. He ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived. He was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that it could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed.
Unholy Trinity: Again, here is the reference to the unholy trinity, the upside down triangle of Satan, the Antichrist, & the False Prophet. There are a lot of guesses as to who this person is going to be. Some say he will be a Jewish descendent (scripture uses a lamb reference), though unlikely because Satan will have nothing to do with that people group. More than likely, he is simply an important religious figure representing a rising religious and ecclesiastical movement which will be used by Satan. He will also appear to be peaceful, which will only be a cover.
Famous False Prophet A: Jim Jones
Religious leader from CA that took his “People’s Temple” to South America in a country called Guyana. After an investigation was going to find him guilty of murder among other things, he convinced his 900 plus followers (including 150 children) to drink some cyanide-laced kool-aid in a mass suicide.
Famous False Prophet B: Marshall Applewhite
Heaven’s Gate cult leader that convinced 38 people to commit suicide by eating poisoned pudding. His group felt that they had to commit suicide in order to evacuate from earth to transform their bodies, it was the only way to jump on Haley’s Comet and end up in outer space (Applewhite told followers he was Jesus).
Famous False Prophet C: David Koresh
Another person claiming to be Jesus, Koresh’s cult The Branch Davidians moved into a military compound in Waco Texas. Prior to the government’s attack & their eventual destruction, he became the polygamous husband to all the females (he told people that he was Christ, the pale rider of the 4th seal).
How to Identify a True Prophet:
1. Age & sex does not matter. Acts 2:17-18
2. 100% correct, 100% of the time. Deut 18:21-22
3. Matches scripture 100%. Deut 13:1-3
4. Messages encourage the saints to obey the Law of God. Ezekiel 7:26
5. Teaching glorifies Jesus Christ & His work of salvation. 1 John 4:1-3
6. Miracles do not prove a thing. Matt 24:24-25
7. His work, message, and walk will display the fruits of the Holy Spirit. Matt 7:15-20
Traits of the False Prophet:
Description: Will by a symbol of sacrifice, a humanitarian, a man appearing to love others.
Dominion: Will under the authority of the beast, to carry out his works.
Design: Will make the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the beast.
Deceptions: Will perform great signs, even fire coming down from heaven.
Demand: Will force all men of every category and society to receive the mark of the beast.
F. BIBLE VERSE: Revelation 13:16-18 (The Mark of the Beast):
He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name. This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man’s number. His number is 666.
The Meaning: John MacArthur explains the meaning of 666 this way: "The number represents the essential number of a man. The number 6 falls one short of God’s perfect number, 7, and thus points to human imperfection. Antichrist, the most powerful human the world will ever know, will still be a man - a 6. The ultimate in human and demonic power is a 6, not perfect, as God is." MacArthur goes on to explain that the three digits emphasizes man’s identity. When Antichrist is revealed, he will be identified with this number. The Bible is not clear what the mark will be: an implant, a microchip, a tattoo. It is wise not to speculate since the Bible does not give detailed information regarding this mark.

The Mark of the Beast:
