LISTEN TO HIM TALK
Heb:1-8But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
9Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
10And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:
The one test that shows that Christ was who he said was the authority he spoke with.
Our pulpits need men that will preach the truth with |Holy Spirit authority.
Not mealy mouth fence straddling back scratching compromising Pharisees.
1.HE COLLECTED NO FUNDS FOR THE LIBERALS.
Matt: 23:1Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
2 Saying The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.
If you pay their fare you have to dance to their music
If we send them money we have to teach there way.
If we pay their deeds we have to teach their doctrine
2. HE CHARGED NO FARE FOR HIS LABOR.
Matt: 20: 28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
He healed the sick and raised the dead at no charge.
He fed the hungry comforted the broken saved the lost for no pay.
He had no price no amount could buy him.
3. HE NEVER COVERED UP FOR ANY ONE.
John 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
37 I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.
38 I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.
He did not have them leading prayers on his platform.
They were not heading up committees for popularity sake.
He did not line them up so the press could cover them.
4. HIS CLAIM WAS BACKED BY LOYALTY AND FACTS.
John 17:4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
His divine love was un matched .
His pure love could not be doubled.
His perfect obedience was to the fathers will.
He was unmovable in all things.
His purity proved his Holy methods.
5. HE CRACKS DOWN ON THE FOLLY OF RELIGIOUS LEGEND.
Matt:23:28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
Christ exposed their hypocrisy and pretence.
Christ exposed their hypocritical prayers.
Christ expose their hypocritical plot.
6. HE COMMISSIONED HIS FOLLOWERS TO WITNESS
Matt: 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Go is part of the great commission
The good news should reach all the world.
The gift of salvation should be and offer to all man kind.
7. HE IS COMING FOR HIS FAMILY BEFORE LONG
Heb 10 :27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
The word is his oath ---- he cannot lie.
The witness of the world ------ conditions are ripe.
The waiting looking longing by the bride.
