Summary: A study of chapter 32 verses 1 through 32

Ezekiel 32: 1 – 32

Stinky Feet

“1 And it came to pass in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, on the first day of the month, that the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 2 “Son of man, take up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say to him: ‘You are like a young lion among the nations, and you are like a monster in the seas, bursting forth in your rivers, troubling the waters with your feet, and fouling their rivers.’ 3 “Thus says the Lord GOD: ‘I will therefore spread My net over you with a company of many people, and they will draw you up in My net. 4 Then I will leave you on the land; I will cast you out on the open fields, and cause to settle on you all the birds of the heavens. And with you I will fill the beasts of the whole earth. 5 I will lay your flesh on the mountains, and fill the valleys with your carcass. 6 ‘I will also water the land with the flow of your blood, even to the mountains; and the riverbeds will be full of you. 7 When I put out your light, I will cover the heavens, and make its stars dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light. 8 All the bright lights of the heavens I will make dark over you, and bring darkness upon your land,’ says the Lord GOD. 9 ‘I will also trouble the hearts of many peoples, when I bring your destruction among the nations, into the countries which you have not known. 10 Yes, I will make many peoples astonished at you, and their kings shall be horribly afraid of you when I brandish My sword before them; and they shall tremble every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of your fall.’ 11 “For thus says the Lord GOD: ‘The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon you. 12 By the swords of the mighty warriors, all of them the most terrible of the nations, I will cause your multitude to fall. ‘ They shall plunder the pomp of Egypt, and all its multitude shall be destroyed. 13 Also I will destroy all its animals from beside its great waters; The foot of man shall muddy them no more, nor shall the hooves of animals muddy them. 14 Then I will make their waters clear, and make their rivers run like oil,’ says the Lord GOD. 15 ‘ When I make the land of Egypt desolate, and the country is destitute of all that once filled it, when I strike all who dwell in it, then they shall know that I am the LORD. 16 ‘ This is the lamentation with which they shall lament her; The daughters of the nations shall lament her; They shall lament for her, for Egypt, and for all her multitude,’ says the Lord GOD.” 17 It came to pass also in the twelfth year, on the fifteenth day of the month, that the word of the LORD came to me, saying: 18 “ Son of man, wail over the multitude of Egypt, and cast them down to the depths of the earth, her and the daughters of the famous nations, with those who go down to the Pit: 19 ‘ Whom do you surpass in beauty? Go down, be placed with the uncircumcised.’ 20 “ They shall fall in the midst of those slain by the sword; she is delivered to the sword, drawing her and all her multitudes. 21 The strong among the mighty shall speak to him out of the midst of hell with those who help him: ‘They have gone down, they lie with the uncircumcised, slain by the sword.’ 22 “ Assyria is there, and all her company, with their graves all around her, all of them slain, fallen by the sword. 23 Her graves are set in the recesses of the Pit, and her company is all around her grave, all of them slain, fallen by the sword, who caused terror in the land of the living. 24 “There is Elam and all her multitude, all around her grave, all of them slain, fallen by the sword, who have gone down uncircumcised to the lower parts of the earth, who caused their terror in the land of the living; Now they bear their shame with those who go down to the Pit. 25 They have set her bed in the midst of the slain, with all her multitude, with her graves all around it, all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword; Though their terror was caused in the land of the living, yet they bear their shame with those who go down to the Pit; It was put in the midst of the slain. 26 “There are Meshech and Tubal and all their multitudes, with all their graves around it, all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword, though they caused their terror in the land of the living. 27 They do not lie with the mighty who are fallen of the uncircumcised, who have gone down to hell with their weapons of war; They have laid their swords under their heads, but their iniquities will be on their bones, because of the terror of the mighty in the land of the living. 28 Yes, you shall be broken in the midst of the uncircumcised, and lie with those slain by the sword. 29 “There is Edom, her kings and all her princes, who despite their might are laid beside those slain by the sword; They shall lie with the uncircumcised, and with those who go down to the Pit. 30 There are the princes of the north, all of them, and all the Sidonians, who have gone down with the slain in shame at the terror which they caused by their might; They lie uncircumcised with those slain by the sword, and bear their shame with those who go down to the Pit. 31 “Pharaoh will see them and be comforted over all his multitude, Pharaoh and all his army, slain by the sword,” says the Lord GOD. 32 “ For I have caused My terror in the land of the living; And he shall be placed in the midst of the uncircumcised with those slain by the sword, Pharaoh and all his multitude,” says the Lord GOD.

We now come to the fourth chapter dedicated against Egypt. A good question to ask is, why is there so much attention given?

No ancient civilization compares to Egypt. It was the first nation to rise as a world power. Even after others came along in dominance, Egypt continued to play a part in world history.

One great characteristic of our Mighty Ruler is that He Is Long-Suffering. It might seem that He Is slow to act but in reality He Is never late in His Judgments. He steps in with His Righteous Justice at just the right time.

The saying, ‘payday someday’ is so true. Everyone must give an account to Jehovah Elyon – The Lord Most High. Egypt would not go on and on forever. Only our Precious Holy One Was, Is, and ever shall be. It was time for Egypt to answer for all its sins.

“1 And it came to pass in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, on the first day of the month, that the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 2 “Son of man, take up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say to him: ‘You are like a young lion among the nations, and you are like a monster in the seas, bursting forth in your rivers, troubling the waters with your feet, and fouling their rivers.’

The description our Holy Adoni gives of Pharaoh was direct and to the point. He thought himself to be a tough guy. His thinking was affected by pride and as a result, he actually thought he was a god. ‘Not so,’ replied our Holy Maker. ‘You are a monster [crocodile] and will be dealt with as such. Your stinky feet smell up and foul the water that I created,’ says the Holy Yahweh.

Pharaoh was seen, admired, and feared by the other nations. They looked upon her as being a ‘young lion’. The Egyptian Spink has the body of a lion. However, our Lord God sees things differently. He saw the king of Egypt as a crocodile that caused harm among all people.

A good example of how mankind sees themselves, and how our Holy Father sees things, are totally different. What counts is how our Magnificent Holy God sees things. The prophet Daniel informs us in chapters 2 and 7 this point of view.

Daniel 2, 26 The king answered and said to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, “Are you able to make known to me the dream which I have seen, and its interpretation?” 27 Daniel answered in the presence of the king, and said, “The secret which the king has demanded, the wise men, the astrologers, the magicians, and the soothsayers cannot declare to the king. 28 But there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets, and He has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will be in the latter days. Your dream, and the visions of your head upon your bed, were these: 29 As for you, O king, thoughts came to your mind while on your bed, about what would come to pass after this; and He who reveals secrets has made known to you what will be. 30 But as for me, this secret has not been revealed to me because I have more wisdom than anyone living, but for our sakes who make known the interpretation to the king, and that you may know the thoughts of your heart. 31 “You, O king, were watching; and behold, a great image! This great image, whose splendor was excellent, stood before you; and its form was awesome. 32 This image’s head was of fine gold, its chest and arms of silver, its belly and thighs[c] of bronze, 33 its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of clay. 34 You watched while a stone was cut out without hands, which struck the image on its feet of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces. 35 Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were crushed together, and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors; the wind carried them away so that no trace of them was found. And the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth. 36 “This is the dream. Now we will tell the interpretation of it before the king. 37 You, O king, are a king of kings. For the God of heaven has given you a kingdom, power, strength, and glory; 38 and wherever the children of men dwell, or the beasts of the field and the birds of the heaven, He has given them into your hand, and has made you ruler over them all—you are this head of gold. 39 But after you shall arise another kingdom inferior to yours; then another, a third kingdom of bronze, which shall rule over all the earth. 40 And the fourth kingdom shall be as strong as iron, inasmuch as iron breaks in pieces and shatters everything; and like iron that crushes, that kingdom will break in pieces and crush all the others. 41 Whereas you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; yet the strength of the iron shall be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with ceramic clay. 42 And as the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly fragile. 43 As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay. 44 And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever. 45 Inasmuch as you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold—the great God has made known to the king what will come to pass after this. The dream is certain, and its interpretation is sure.”

Daniel 7, “1 In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon, Daniel had a dream and visions of his head while on his bed. Then he wrote down the dream, telling the main facts.2 Daniel spoke, saying, “I saw in my vision by night, and behold, the four winds of heaven were stirring up the Great Sea. 3 And four great beasts came up from the sea, each different from the other. 4 The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings. I watched till its wings were plucked off; and it was lifted up from the earth and made to stand on two feet like a man, and a man’s heart was given to it. 5 “And suddenly another beast, a second, like a bear. It was raised up on one side, and had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth. And they said thus to it: ‘Arise, devour much flesh!’ 6 “After this I looked, and there was another, like a leopard, which had on its back four wings of a bird. The beast also had four heads, and dominion was given to it. 7 “After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, exceedingly strong. It had huge iron teeth; it was devouring, breaking in pieces, and trampling the residue with its feet. It was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns. 8 I was considering the horns, and there was another horn, a little one, coming up among them, before whom three of the first horns were plucked out by the roots. And there, in this horn, were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking pompous words. 9 “ I watched till thrones were put in place, and the Ancient of Days was seated; His garment was white as snow, and the hair of His head was like pure wool. His throne was a fiery flame, its wheels a burning fire; 10 A fiery stream issued and came forth from before Him. A thousand thousands ministered to Him; Ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him. The court was seated, and the books were opened. 11 “I watched then because of the sound of the pompous words which the horn was speaking; I watched till the beast was slain, and its body destroyed and given to the burning flame. 12 As for the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away, yet their lives were prolonged for a season and a time. 13 “ I was watching in the night visions, and behold, One like the Son of Man, coming with the clouds of heaven! He came to the Ancient of Days, and they brought Him near before Him. 14 Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His kingdom the one which shall not be destroyed.”

Mankind looks at history and sees valuable metals. Our Holy Father looks and sees the world leaders for what they really are – beasts.

3 “Thus says the Lord GOD: ‘I will therefore spread My net over you with a company of many people, and they will draw you up in My net. 8 All the bright lights of the heavens I will make dark over you, and bring darkness upon your land,’ says the Lord GOD.”

After describing Pharaoh as a monster, we read about his destiny. It is death. This led me to thinking about all this unique verbiage our Lord so eloquently uses. In chapter 28 and 31 we noticed references to God’s anointed cherub. The devil is a copycat. Even though he is intelligent, he seems to have a hard time with being creative. Look at all the temptations he throws at us. They are usually the same but they come at us in different directions and at different forms.

Our Lord Jesus Christ told His disciples that He would make them fishers of men. Look at the previous chapters and notice the power behind Pharaoh – Satan. There seems to be an out of place statement regarding fish sticking to the scales of the crocodile which if you ever visited a zoo and examined one would see that this would not happen since the crocs scales are so adhered to each other. Satan also catches men with the netting of the world, the flesh, and the pride of life. You would think that Satan would learn that He couldn’t outthink or out maneuver our Holy Adoni Yahweh.

Acting on behalf of his god’s leadership [Satan], the crocodile [Pharaoh] has trapped and killed innocent people. Now, our God Most Holy turns on him as a Great Game Hunter and nets the beast who controlled the nations of the world. Two Scriptures touch my heart on this matter.

Genesis 1, “26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” 29 And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food. 30 Also, to every beast of the earth, to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food”; and it was so. 31 Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.”

2 Peter 3, “9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.”

One thing I can say with certainty is that our God Is Love. He loves people. Although we all deserve to be wiped out, He just continues to love and help us. What a Great God Is He! I see here the beautiful heart of our Awesome Maker. It is tough for our Holy Loving God as 2 Peter 3 informs us to let man go to a bad end. Have you ever wondered or suggested that our God should just smash Satan and get him out of the way. Remember, our Precious Creator Made and gave Satan the highest rank of His angels. It appears that Lucifer was in charge of the worship of the Holy Trinity. He does not even want us to speak against Lucifer as the book of Jude instructs us, “8 Likewise also these dreamers defile the flesh, reject authority, and speak evil of dignitaries. 9 Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said, “The Lord rebuke you!” 10 But these speak evil of whatever they do not know; and whatever they know naturally, like brute beasts, in these things they corrupt themselves. 11 Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished in the rebellion of Korah.”

As broken hearted Father Who once enjoyed the praise and worship of Lucifer, He has to be now his Judge and sentence him for all eternity. He is postponing this action. Our Holy God Is Patient and Long Suffering allowing Satan to stay out on parole until He must initiate the sentence.

I see also God’s wonderful loving heart that He cannot look upon a man [Pharaoh] who was created in His Own Image and give the command of destruction. Our Magnificent Holy One has to see beyond a fallen human to the evil monster that lives in the tent of flesh. Looking at a beast and giving the command to eliminate a beast that preys upon many other innocent victims is a easier decision to make. Do you not agree?

Pharaoh had declared that he was the ‘sun’ god so to prove him wrong our Holy Lord turns out the lights just as He did to a previous Pharaoh in Exodus chapter 10, “21 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, darkness which may even be felt.” 22 So Moses stretched out his hand toward heaven, and there was thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days. 23 They did not see one another; nor did anyone rise from his place for three days. But all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.”

The words spoken by our Father are also apocalyptic as they seem to match the prophetic words spoken by the prophet Joel regarding future Judgment.

Joel 2, “1 Blow the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; For the day of the LORD is coming, for it is at hand: 2 A day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, like the morning clouds spread over the mountains. A people come, great and strong, the like of whom has never been; Nor will there ever be any such after them, even for many successive generations. 3 A fire devours before them, and behind them a flame burns; The land is like the Garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; Surely nothing shall escape them. 4 Their appearance is like the appearance of horses; and like swift steeds, so they run. 5 With a noise like chariots over mountaintops they leap, like the noise of a flaming fire that devours the stubble, like a strong people set in battle array. 6 Before them the people writhe in pain; All faces are drained of color.7 They run like mighty men, they climb the wall like men of war; Every one marches in formation, and they do not break ranks. 8 They do not push one another; Every one marches in his own column. Though they lunge between the weapons, they are not cut down. 9 They run to and fro in the city, they run on the wall; they climb into the houses, they enter at the windows like a thief. 10 The earth quakes before them, the heavens tremble; The sun and moon grow dark, and the stars diminish their brightness. 11 The LORD gives voice before His army, for His camp is very great; For strong is the One who executes His word. For the day of the LORD is great and very terrible;. Who can endure it?

This judgment is far beyond that which was given against Egypt and points towards a future event.

9 ‘I will also trouble the hearts of many peoples, when I bring your destruction among the nations, into the countries which you have not known. 10 Yes, I will make many peoples astonished at you, and their kings shall be horribly afraid of you when I brandish My sword before them; and they shall tremble every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of your fall.’

These verses also indicate a present and future distress to the nations. Please note the statement regarding people who Egypt has not even known about, 9 ‘I will also trouble the hearts of many peoples, when I bring your destruction among the nations, into the countries which you have not known. 10 Yes, I will make many peoples astonished at you, and their kings shall be horribly afraid of you when I brandish My sword before them; and they shall tremble every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of your fall.’ How can distant countries that have not even heard about Egypt’s destruction be affected? The answer is that all the known world at the time of Ezekiel’s prophecy would indeed be greatly affected by Egypt’s downfall and the future residents of the earth will be greatly affected by Satan’s downfall.

Isaiah 14, “ 15 Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, to the lowest depths of the Pit. 16 “ Those who see you will gaze at you, and consider you, saying: ‘ Is this the man who made the earth tremble, who shook kingdoms, 17 Who made the world as a wilderness and destroyed its cities, who did not open the house of his prisoners?’ 18 “ All the kings of the nations, all of them, sleep in glory, everyone in his own house; 19 But you are cast out of your grave like an abominable branch, like the garment of those who are slain, thrust through with a sword, who go down to the stones of the pit, like a corpse trodden underfoot. 20 You will not be joined with them in burial, because you have destroyed your land and slain your people.

Revelation 20, “1 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2 He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; 3 and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while.”

“7 Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea. 9 They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them. 10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.”

11 “For thus says the Lord GOD: ‘The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon you. 16 ‘ This is the lamentation with which they shall lament her; The daughters of the nations shall lament her; They shall lament for her, for Egypt, and for all her multitude,’ says the Lord GOD.” 17 It came to pass also in the twelfth year, on the fifteenth day of the month, that the word of the LORD came to me, saying: 18 “ Son of man, wail over the multitude of Egypt, and cast them down to the depths of the earth, her and the daughters of the famous nations, with those who go down to the Pit.”

Egypt’s demise caused a great distress among all the other nations. Now we see how this action that was taken against Egypt by the Babylonians will cause total devastation. The destruction as you can read here is so complete that Egypt will be left barren like a moonscape.

Since the king who knew not Joseph came to power, the Egyptians have mistreated the Israelites. They had been given every chance to repent and seek His favor but they refused. Significant punishment was dished out on them yet they opted to go it alone and fight the Everlasting God. They would learn the ultimate lesson the hard way.

19 ‘ Whom do you surpass in beauty? Go down, be placed with the uncircumcised.’ 20 “ They shall fall in the midst of those slain by the sword; she is delivered to the sword, drawing her and all her multitudes.”

It was now time for Pharaoh to be given a picture of what destiny awaited him –death and the grave.

There are no more chances. One thing that we cling to here on earth is hope. Even if our lives stink, we still have hope that it will somehow improve; that our boat will come in; that we will win the lottery jackpot. Once you die then your hope ends also. If a person has not accepted the gift of eternal life offered by the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ upon His death on the cross then they have made their choice.

“21 The strong among the mighty shall speak to him out of the midst of hell with those who help him: ‘They have gone down, they lie with the uncircumcised, slain by the sword.’ 22 “ Assyria is there, and all her company, with their graves all around her, all of them slain, fallen by the sword. 30 There are the princes of the north, all of them, and all the Sidonians, who have gone down with the slain in shame at the terror which they caused by their might; They lie uncircumcised with those slain by the sword, and bear their shame with those who go down to the Pit.”

I mentioned earlier that the judgments spoken were more in intensity then that which Egypt would experience. The judgments also pointed to a future day. So, is there something more here being listed. I believe there is more here that our Wonderful Holy Spirit Is showing us. If we consider these events also happening in the future, then the listing of these countries take on more meaning. They are all Muslim nations. Look at their names today

. Asshur = Assyria

. Elam = Persia or Iran

. Misheck and Tubal = Turkey

. Zidonians = Lebanon

These nations have continually caused problems against God’s people. Their hatred continues even today against the Israelites and finally the Commander of Heaven’s hosts will deal with this issue. Look at Psalm 83, “ 1 Do not keep silent, O God! Do not hold Your peace, and do not be still, O God! 2 For behold, Your enemies make a tumult; And those who hate You have lifted up their head. 3 They have taken crafty counsel against Your people, and consulted together against Your sheltered ones. 4 They have said, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, that the name of Israel may be remembered no more.” 5 For they have consulted together with one consent; They form a confederacy against You: 6 The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab and the Hagrites; 7 Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre; 8 Assyria also has joined with them; They have helped the children of Lot. Selah 9 Deal with them as with Midian, as with Sisera, as with Jabin at the Brook Kishon, 10 Who perished at En Dor, who became as refuse on the earth. 11 Make their nobles like Oreb and like Zeeb, yes, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna, 12 Who said, “Let us take for ourselves the pastures of God for a possession.” 13 O my God, make them like the whirling dust, like the chaff before the wind! 14 As the fire burns the woods, and as the flame sets the mountains on fire, 15 So pursue them with Your tempest, and frighten them with Your storm. 16 Fill their faces with shame, that they may seek Your name, O LORD. 17 Let them be confounded and dismayed forever; Yes, let them be put to shame and perish, 18 That they may know that You, whose name alone is the LORD, are the Most High over all the earth.”

We cannot put our heads in the sand. We now live in this period that will soon bring about our Lord’s judgment on these Islamic nations. Realizing the significance that Islam plays in the grand scheme of things today. All the countries listed in Psalm 83 are also Muslim nations. The nations that we will see in chapters 38 and 39 are all Muslim nations. Understanding this then we are able to get a better understanding of certain scriptures that in the past were hard to interpret. Let us look at The book of Judges for example in chapter 8 we read, “18 And he [Gideon] said to Zebah and Zalmunna, “What kind of men were they whom you killed at Tabor?” So they answered, “As you are, so were they; each one resembled the son of a king.” 19 Then he said, “They were my brothers, the sons of my mother. As the LORD lives, if you had let them live, I would not kill you.” 20 And he said to Jether his firstborn, “Rise, kill them!” But the youth would not draw his sword; for he was afraid, because he was still a youth. 21 So Zebah and Zalmunna said, “Rise yourself, and kill us; for as a man is, so is his strength.” So Gideon arose and killed Zebah and Zalmunna, and took the crescent ornaments that were on their camels’ necks.”

Why did our Precious Holy Spirit put this in? Why did He go to the certain length to tell us that they took the ornaments off the camels’ necks? The crescent shields were religious symbols. Today, the crescent moon and sword are the emblems of the Islamic faith.

In the final analysis man is just dust and dust he shall return to no matter what worldly accomplishment or power he has attainted. God Is our Master and our very breaths are in His hand to keep alive or to destroy. May we fully understand the Majestic Holiness our God Is and that He deserves all our praise, worship, and thanksgiving.
