Rev. #57-17:1-3 RELIGIOUS BABYLON 6-5-10
Last time we talked about the origin of Babylon and saw from the Bible that it’s roots are from
Gen. 10:10 to do with a man named Nimrod.
10And the beginning of his kingdom was Bab-el,-later called Babylon.
REVELATION 17 is telling us about the religious system Babylon and chapter 18 is telling us about
the commercial system Babylon.
Both are destroyed in the 7 year tribulation, religious Babylon about the mid way point of the 7
years, she’s destroyed under the direction of the Antichrist as he heads up the Revived Roman
Empire which is made up of the 10 confederated kingdoms of the Revived Union, they’ll hate the
whore, the religious system, and destroy her as they give their complete support to the Antichrist.
V 16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. -—This is done because God has put it in their hearts and minds to do so.
The Antichrist about the mid way point desires all worship be directed toward him, he will go into the
temple of God about the mid point of the 7 years and declare himself to be God.
2nd thess.2 3-4 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there
come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4Who opposeth and
exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the
temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
The Antichrist will use the whore just as long as it is to his benefit and then turns on her.

If you’ll recall back in chapter 16:19 we’re told that at the conclusion of the Trumpet judgments
being poured over the earth that great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her
the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. —Remember there are 3 sets of judgments, {seals-
trumpets-bowls} with the bowls near the end, just prior the return of Christ to set up His Kingdom.
The judgment of these two parts of Babylon occur at different times, as I’ve already told you
religious Babylon is destroyed about the middle of the 7 years, and commercial Babylon near the end.

1And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying
unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon
many waters:
We’re not told which one of the seven angels with the 7 bowls it was.
- saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth
upon many waters:-
So this angel explains to John and also to you and I that what is about to be told is to do with "the
judgment of" this religious system, the great whore, she’s called "great" because she’s been around
for thousands of years, the sins that she has brought to mankind are very GREAT.
God’s cup of judgment will be pressed to the lips of the harlot; she’ll be made to drink the dregs in
the bottom of the cup of Gods wrath. The Antichrist and the False Prophet will not want her around
after she has served their purpose. Antichrist wants to be worshiped, and he doesn’t want any
competition from the so- called church of that day.
The False Prophet then demands that the world over worship the Antichrist, he will build
a statue of the Antichrist and even bring it to life, the image will demand that people worship
it **** —Turn back to 13: and lets read about the false prophets role when the religious system is destroyed..
And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth;** and he had two horns like a lamb, and
he spake as a dragon. ^And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the
earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. ^And
he dogh great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of
men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had
power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
We believe this will be shown on world- wide TV as we’re told, "verse 14- saying to them that
dwell on the earth"—that’s the only way he could be seen and to speak to the earth dwellers.
15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast
should both** speak, and** cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast
should be killed. This is the image speaking here. this Satanic powered monstrosity will be
empowered of hell its self.***"""~———
^And he**{false prophet} causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a
mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: ^And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had
the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. ^Here is wisdom. Let him that hath
understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six
hundred threescore and six.
^ I’m going to read to you what I received in the mail 5-31-10 and its is laying the
foundation for this mark, lets notice how peoples minds are being programmed in such

“ Micro-chipping to begin in 36 months under new Health Care Bill!”
Here is a sure sign the Lord’s coming is very near. This was a news story just a few days ago
The new health care bill, H.R. 3200, passed by Congress has within it the requirement that ALL
people hereunder shall be micro-chipped.
The plans for this micro chipping have been in the hopper going back to December of 2004
^Witness the actual FDA (Food and Drug Administration) document dated December 10, 2004
"Class II Special Guidance Document: Implantable Radio Frequency Transponder System for
Patient Identification and Health Information."

Now witness the wording within U.K. 3200 "America’s Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009."
You can read the entire bill on the U.S. Congress House Ways and Means website Page 1001 is
"Subtitle C- National Medical Device Registry" which states,
"The Secretary shall establish a national medical device registry (in this subsection referred to as
the "registry") to facilitate analysis of post-market safety and outcomes data on each device that is
or has been used in or on a patient"’’’——————"~
In other words, everyone micro-chip pursuant to the new Health Care Bill must be registered with
the Secretary. The "Secretary" is defined as the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
The date by which this registry is to begin is mandated on page 1006, which is 36 months after the
Health Bill becomes law. Here’s what it says,
" Effective date; The Secretary of Health and Human Services shall establish and begin
implementation of the registry under section 519(g) of the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act, as
added by paragraph (1) by not later than the date that is 36 months after the date of the enactment of
this Act, without regard to whether or not final regulations to establish and operate the registry have
been promulgated by such date."

Under these laws EVERY American will be required to be micro-chipped by the year 2013.
The Bible says in Revelation 13:16, "And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads."
We are certainly living in the last days.

Back to our study:
After a time the Antichrist with the assistance of the 10-confederated army of the European union
destroys religious Babylon.
-— the great whore—this is her title as she entices the world to partake of her fornication.
Verse 15 explains to us what the "many waters" is:
Verse 15; The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and
nations, and tongues.
- sitteth upon- means she’s being supported.
In other words this great religious system was and is today a worldwide religion, Catholicism.
But any and alt other dam-able religions will come under this big umbrella of CHRISTENDOM. All
over the world there are people that are evolved in and support Catholicism, perhaps the biggest
religion of all, with Islam gaining every day.
There’s millions duped by Catholicism all over the world. -Always know this; there are
countless religions but there is only One Salvation, and that’s the BLOOD BOUGHT KIND that only
Jesus gives—-if people only knew this they would get away from religion like a person would a rattle
snake that’s ready to strike.
I recall a man saying to me that people shouldn’t talk down on other peoples religion because that’s
what they believe in, but listen dear listener, with all the sincerity they may have, their sincerely
wrong, Christians don’t hate people that might not believe as we do, but we do hate their dam able
religion because we realize that Jesus is the Only Way that any one will get to heaven.
God says twice in Proverbs - There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof
are the ways of death.
14:12 and again in 16:25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the
ways of death. So all other WAYS are the WAYS of death, that’s what God said through the inspired
pin of Solomon.
2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God,-

And as the conversation went on he told me that when he died they was going to bury him in a certain church cemetery and that all the woods around the church would be filled with friends that come to his funeral.
I began telling him about hell and that people that die in their sins go there, his reply was that he
didn’t believe in hell and not to tell him about that devil stuff because he didn’t believe it.
After a while of trying to reason with him I had prayer and was about to go out the door and he
joking said to me, I’ll see you there.----
He may see me from there but I want be there, when he died not very long after that he was buried
in a different place than where he thought he would be.
That’s the way it is every time a lost sinner dies, he finds him self in a place he never thought he’d be.
