THANKS BE TO GOD

“Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!” 2 Corinthians 9:15 NKJV

I. THANKS BE TO GOD THE FATHER!

For His indescribable Gift!

”But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8 (NKJV) Also John 3:16.

For the manner (or extent) of love He has bestowed upon us! “Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! (And we are!). Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. 1 John 3:1-2 (NKJV)

II. THANKS BE TO GOD THE SON! . For His great condescension!

”Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.” Philippians 2:5-8 (NKJV) .

For what He now does for us! . “In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. John 14:2 (NKJV) “Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.” Hebrews 7:25 (NKJV)

III. THANKS BE TO GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT! . For guiding us into all truth! “…He will guide you into all truth…” John 16:13

For sealing us unto the day of redemption! . “In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory. Ephesians 1:13-14 (NKJV)
