Summary: Consequently, although our earth ancestors were royalty but was kicked off the Throne, God still did not take their royalty away.

After the Divine Creator finished constructing this vast biosphere suspended in the mist of the universe, God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” Therefore, God created mankind in his own image from the dust of the ground and breathed into humanity’s nostrils the breath of life, and the earthman became a living being.

Moreover, God blessed humanity and said, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and over every living creature that moves on the ground. I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it for food. And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground, everything that has the breath of life in it, I give every green plant for food.” And it was so.

At the beginning of time inside the Garden of Eden, God ordained and crowned the very first Royalty upon the earth. He created our very distant ancestors, blessed them, gave them a kingdom, and told them to rule. However, before the very first chapter of the story closed, Lucifer quickly appeared and talked man into stepping out of his God-ordained place. He introduced doubt in what God had said to Eve. From inside the snake, he said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?” More importantly, that doubt simply led Eve to stop believing in God’s words despite knowing what God said.

The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’ Immediately, the serpent interrupted the woman with a bold face lie, “You will not certainly die. God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” Sadly, the Scriptures states that when the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food, pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.

Before traveling further, let us look at the lie that Lucifer told in order to reveal the true. The lie was not you will not certainly die, because they did not die because God let them live. The lie was not God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened because that is what happened and God always know the truth. The lie was simply you will be like God. It was a not lie because they were already made in the image and likeness of God. It was simply a lie because when they doubted, stopped believing in, and then disobeyed what God said; they sinned. God is holy and has no sin. Therefore, after eating the fruit, their eyes became open to their sin. They saw that they were no longer like God and covered their shame. Nevertheless, that was the least of the damage done on that sad day. The real damage done was Adam and Eve gave up the Throne.

Millenniums later, Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted. After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. So, the tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.” Familiar with the devil’s tricks, Jesus answered; “It is written Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.” Later, the devil took him to the holy city and stood him the highest point of the temple and lured, “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down. For it is written: He will command his angels concerning you, and they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.” Again, Jesus just answered, “It is also written: Do not put the Lord your God to the test.” Lastly, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor and said, “All this I will give you, if you will bow down and worship me.” Frustrated at Lucifer’ stupidity, Jesus commanded, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.” Therefore, the devil left him, and angels came and attended him. More importantly, what happened was Lucifer was just trying to get Jesus to doubt who he was. Nevertheless, this time he did not convince that someone created by God to give up the Throne.

Not many months later, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary and the other Mary went to look at the tomb where he laid. However, earlier there was a violent earthquake because an angel of the Lord came down from heaven, went to the tomb, rolled back the stone, and sat on it. 3His appearance scared the life out of the guards because they shook and became like dead men. Then the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”

So, the women hurried away, still afraid yet filled with joy. They ran to tell his disciples. However, on the way, suddenly Jesus met them. Surprised to see him alive, they came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. However, Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.” Later, the eleven disciples went to Galilee and climb to the mountain top where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. However, despite their doubt, Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” More importantly, that is when Jesus, the Son of God started Heavenly rule.

Consequently, although our earth ancestors were royalty but was kicked off the Throne, God still did not take their royalty away. The greatness of their royalty was just tarnished under their sin of disobedience. That is why David reminds us in Psalm 8, ‘When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him? You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor. You made him ruler over the works of your hands.’ More importantly, although humanity is sinful, humanity still rules.

Furthermore, it is time we realized who humanity is to God. Since our God is the one who controls the storms, let the Royal High Priesthood of God come out of our lifeboats and calm the storm. Jesus, the Son of God came, died, and rose is just to wash the stain of our sins away. Our sin had tarnished the greatness of our royal robes. Nevertheless, although our true greatness is tarnished and hidden by our sins, God still did not rescind humanity’s royalty. More importantly, God gave us the power to become the sons of God. That means, our big brother is His Excellency, Jesus, the Christ, the King of Kings. Therefore, when we come inside the household of God by the way Jesus’ life showed us, God has promise to remove the tarnished royal robe of our greatness from our shoulders. He has promise to replace it with the Excellency of Christ. Moreover, He has promise to even make room on the Throne of God so we can sit next to God and Jesus, the Christ. Therefore, when we walk up to the mountain top and experience our talk with God, God calls us by His name, a man or woman of God. Then He sends us back down to truly rule.
