“YOU NEED THE SPIRIT”
1 Corinthians 2:10
But God hath revealed them unto us by his spirit: for the spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
Without the spirit of God in our lives, we have nothing to offer this world that can really make a difference. Many times we as Christians are no better than those that are in the world. We do the same things, we talk the same way, we act, and react like the world. There’s no difference and people see very little that is right. It doesn’t matter how long we are in church, read the bible, shout, or how many revivals we have if we do not have his spirit in our lives the things we do profit us nothing. “YOU NEED THE SPIRIT”
The spirit empowers us to be witnesses for Christ. Jesus told his apostles to wait for the gift his Father promised, and he later told them that they would receive power to be His witness in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and even to the ends of the earth. “YOU NEED THE SPIRIT” that same power to be a more powerful witness for Christ. The world need us to be different from they are and without the spirit it will never be possible. Without the spirit operating in you nothing you do will be of any value. “YOU NEED THE SPIRIT”
It doesn’t matter how many programs we have, how many insights that are made known to us if we do not have the spirit of God in whatever we are doing. Not a one of us can live a godly life that is pleasing to God. Not one of us can have a ministry that is pleasing to God until we have his spirit working in us, through us, and for us. We cannot please God with the things we do, or give up. We cannot please him with our talents, or knowledge. The only thing that you can please him with is having the life of his son inside. “YOU NEED THE SPIRIT”
Unless the life of Christ is released in us, all else is in vain. We go to church, we sing our songs, we go through all the motions, but the truth is that without the presence of the spirit the power is lost and everything we do ends up being just a show and a waste of effort. We are living in perilous time and now is the time that we seek the spirit of God. We need to be filled with the same spirit that raised Jesus from the grave. “YOU NEED THE SPIRIT”
To be able to stand up against the evil that is in this world, to stand for truth and righteousness. We going to need the spirit to help us in the time of trouble, to be able to help others cope with life issues, to bring comfort, and encouragement to those that are struggling. You will not be able to do nothing without the spirit of God. “YOU NEED THE SPIRIT” Now is the time to get the spirit of god dwelling in you that he may work righteousness in you and to bring you to the place in God where true holiness dwell. “YOU NEED THE SPIRIT”
