Summary: Once we are saved we have laid down the old and and put on a new person. The sermon shares how are now condition is different from its formal condition.

Our Now Condition 2 Corinthians 5:16-21

WE are saved redeemed, forgiven, justified, fixed for entrance into the kingdom,

Reconciled, the old account is settled, God is content with are now condition.

If we have accepted Jesus we have what I call a Now Condition:

1. Our Now Condition is we cease to resemble what we once were:

A. Once I was one who listened only to the voice I desired

B. Once I was one who brought Harm and Blame to others because of my choices

C. Once I was one who followed the ways of the World

D. Once I was focused on self-centeredness instead of Christ centeredness

2. Our Now Condition is the Old things have passed Away

A. The Proud and haughty Heart has Passed away

B. The Lying tongue has passed Away

C. The heart that once devised wicked Plots has passed Away

D. Feet that once ran to mischief now flees from mischief

E. One that uttered lies has passed away

F. One that sows discord among the brethren has passed away

3. The Now Condition is New Things have Come

A. Now, New is my attentativeness to the voice of Christ

John 10:3 his sheep follow him because they know his voice

B. Now, is the thrive of my heart for Devotedness and Holiness.

Deut 7:6For you are a people holy to the LORD your God. The LORD your God has chosen you out of all the

peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession.

C. Now, New in my life is my Guide I am now guided by

John 16: 13But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth.

D. Now, New is my Mind and bend towards Proudness

I am not as head strong as I once was

1Peter 5:5Young men, in the same way be submissive to those who are older. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility

toward one another, because, "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble."A

4. The now Condition is I have been Reconciled or settled in this place of Heart

A. Now, The Place of my heart is No worries because God chooses to Forget my transgressions, . they once were ever before me but not now. . Isaiah says this is how God views our past Isa. 43:25, "I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions . for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins."

B. Now, The place of my heart is as if they never happened Psa. 103:12, . “As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.”

C. Now, NO worries because my Heart is settled in the fullness of Redemption . Isa. 44:22, “I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, . thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee.”

D. Would you like to be in the Now Condition just do it Now come to Jesus as you are.
