Solomon certainly knew women and had to know a little something about love. 700 wives and 300 concubines.

Imagine going on vacation or of town for theweekend. Hats shoes dresses . At the time of this writing he had 60 wives and 80 concubines.

Solomon wrote the song of Solomon when he was a young man.

Proverbs when he was in his midyears. This writing is about women also. A woman of the street who seduces and then another woman he holds in great esteem who he describes as wisdom.

Then when he is an old man he writes ecclesiastes and asks what difference does anything make? Its all vanity

So the story is being told about a hot young babe and a fine looking young man.

He rolls on by and later on that night he sends back an emissary to bring her to theking.

Here is a young lady whois the youngest of her family. She has been assigned a task no one wants. Watch the sheep. David also was the youngest. She had the job nobody wanted. Like taking out thetrash.

She didn’t want this job, very little comfort very little shade. She makes the statemtn I am black meaning the son has tanned herskin.

She meets a young fellow under the shade of an apple tree.

This was the same place that shewas boen she had been to this tree that she met a young shepherd boy.

So at some point mom and dad no longer had to beg this young shunenmite girl to stay in the field with the sheep because she now is meeting her love at this apple tree.

As they are sitting under thetree one day they look up and see a great cloud of dust rising up and that there is a great numner of people heading

their way. O wow whatdo you know? It is the representatives of the king. They are stunned bythe length of the caravan the beauty of the chariots and all the wagons with shoe and hat boxes.

One glancefrom Solomon wasgetting ready to change their lives.

That night after she had taken her sheep back to the farm and she was resting there was a knock at the door and as they opened the door there was the kings emmisarys saying the king requests a meeting with you.

Why her? Her families poor. Notprinces or princesses. So they take he to meet Solomon and he does the initial interview process.

The young shepherd boy comes by to see his love and they tell him that the king Solomon has taken her to his summer home.

Fear grips his heart. What if I lose my love to the king?

You can read thisinthe story. He runs through thenight trying to find her.

He scales thewall of thecity. He bangs on doors crying out where is my beloved?

While all of this is going on. Solomon is sitting on his throne in his best garments.

When she comes in he wants her to see her postion in life and his postion in life. How high he was and how low he was.

She never even owned a pair of shoes. They give her a grand tour. She sees the kings wives and all of the hats and shoes andperfumes she is astounded. Shenever dreamed of the finery.

She sees world class beauties and sees herself as a poor country girl. Then she walks into theprescence of the king.

He was a song write hewrote some 1005 songs and he had 1000 wives.

He was no novice. Ths cat had a chariot paved withlove.

This shunenmite woman was overwhelmed. Why is he interested in me?

I am a nobody.

He is using every pick upline he has ever used . She is butteringher up.

He wants anaswer now. Shesays can I think about it? Hesays well sure.

She goes to her room head is spinning.

When she woke up this morning she was just a shepherdess but tomorrow when shewakes up she may be a queen.

she was sleeping on a hard family builf bed butnow she is in the kings palace surrounded by opulencebeyond her wildest dreams.

It was at this time that her spherd boy had scaled the wall crying out have you seen my beloved?

He actually comes to her door in chpat 5:2 and hears him saying open to me my beloved. She is so pulled. What do I do?

Do I want all thefineries that Solomon can answer or do I want true love.\

While she hesitates her shepherd moves on. She runs out the door and now she herself is running through the city crying have you seen him have you seen my beloved?

But he has given up hope has climbed the wall and headed back home.

The next morning Solomon has it all prepared. There is no doubt in his mind that this young shunemite willbeadded to hisharem.

He actually brings her some shoes.

Her 1st pair of shoes. How beautiful are your feet with shoes. He is making hisplay. Look at mypalace theseclothes this food these grand furnishings thcould all be yours. Or you could spend your time under thattree.

He made a mistake. He said o your breath smells like apples. When he said apples all she could think about was her spherd boyfriend.

When he said apples while Solomon was in midsentence she jumped up and ran out of theshoes left the shoes and took off running. The servants are amazed Solomon isstunned. She runs out of theroom out of thesummer palace and runs downto theapple tree.

And there under the apple tree is theyoung shepherd whothought he had lost his love forever. Whatdoes he have to offer. He looks up and sees her running . he says who is ths that is runnin through the fireld. She is trunning back to me.

She says no to the shoes palace fineries chariot and Solomon.

And thescript says that love is strong as death.

I did not know if you would ever come bck.

She ran out and all of the kings helpers are thinking maybe she had to go to thebathroon. Maybe she is nervous and sick at her stomach. They wait and wait and wait.

They were thinking wow king Solomon is not going to put up with this h

Is going to triple their taxes kill the whole family take the farm it is not going to go well.

Solomon just sat there. Then everybody realized she said no.

And she said yes to the soliatary love of a poor shepherd.

But Solomon realized tht god was teachingsomething here. He remembered davids description of the lord is my shepherd. Life can be no better thanwith the shepherd.
