Summary: Outline of A list of things to pray about for each day of the week for the whole year. It will preach as well as be good for a hand-out to put up at one's home.

#7 THINGS TO PRAY ABOUT

I Thessalonians 5:17

"Pray without ceasing."

#1. WISDOM:

Proverbs 4:7 “Wisdom is the principle thing.”

Proverbs 16:16 “Better to get WISDOM than Gold

James 1:5 “If any of you lacks WISDOM let him ask of God,

who give to all liberally and without reproach, and it

will be given to him.”

#2. CLOSER TO GOD:

James 4:8 “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.”

#3. BEING USED OF GOD:

Acts 4:20 “For we cannot but speak of what we have seen and

heard.”

Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come

upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem

and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the

earth.”

#4. UNDERSTANDING GOD’S WORD:

II Timothy 2:15 “Study to show yourself approved unto God, a worker

who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the

Word of Truth.”

John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with

God, and the Word was God.”

Romans 10:17 “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the

word of Christ.”

John 8:32 “And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

#5. LEADERS:

II Timothy 2:1-2 “Therefore, I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers,

intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men,

for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a

quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.”

#6. REVIVAL, SOULS & MISSIONARIES:

Mark 16:15-18 “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every

creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved,

but he who does not believe will be condemned. And

these signs will follow those who believe. In My name

they will cast out demons; they will speak with new

tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink

anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will

lay hands on the sick and they will recover.”

#7. FOR ONE ANOTHER:

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 “Two are better than one, because they have a good

reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow.

But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not

another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep

warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a

man might prevail against one who is alone, two will

withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

John 13:35 “By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if

you have love for one another.”
