Feelings of Compassion help to serve

Feeling of Care kind hearted ness Provoke helps; Feelings of Concern provoke ways of helping.

After hearing of a child in McDowell County who would eat two or more helpings of food at school. A teacher noticed him doing that during the week and a teacher asked him why he ate so much? He said, “I want to eat as much as I can because when I go home I will not be hungry and my brothers and sisters will have more to eat”. As a result of that compassion and care it provoked a help, now we are planning a mission trip there to do a VBS and help feed children next year in that area. We have a donation jug that you can start filling with money now so we can go.

C. We serve by having a Faith in a Name who can Cure us

6Then Peter said, "Silver or gold I do not have, but what I have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk."

Healing is in that name

Salvation is in that name

Strength is in that name

Victory is in that name

D. We serve Him because of the Joy He can Bring to Us and others

walking and praising God, 10they recognized him as the same man who used to sit begging at the temple gate

called Beautiful, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.
