VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. Say to this mountain

"Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain,"

Matthew 17:20 (Amplified Bible)

17:20 He said to them, Because of the littleness of your faith [that is, your lack of firmly relying trust]. For truly I say to you, if you have faith [that is living] like a grain of mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, Move from here to yonder place, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.

Matthew 21:21 (Amplified Bible)

21:21 And Jesus answered them, Truly I say to you, if you have faith (a firm relying trust) and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, Be taken up and cast into the sea, it will be done.

Luke 17:6 (Amplified Bible)

17:6 And the Lord answered, If you had faith (trust and confidence in God) even [so small] like a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, Be pulled up by the roots, and be planted in the sea, and it would obey you.

Mountain - any rise or growth along the road, a mountain, something that delays your travel. You can remove obstacles or delays in your travels of life by saying to that obstacle be removed.

B. Be lifted up and thrown into the sea

"Be lifted up and thrown into the sea!"

James 1:6 (Amplified Bible)

1:6 Only it must be in faith that he asks with no wavering (no hesitating, no doubting). For the one who wavers (hesitates, doubts) is like the billowing surge out at sea that is blown hither and thither and tossed by the wind.

Our example is Abraham who have Isaac at age 100 years old because he never doubted GOD.

Romans 4:19-20 (Amplified Bible)

4:19 He did not weaken in faith when he considered the [utter] impotence of his own body, which was as good as dead because he was about a hundred years old, or [when he considered] the barrenness of Sarah’s [deadened] womb.

4:20 No unbelief or distrust made him waver (doubtingly question) concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong and was empowered by faith as he gave praise and glory to God,

Sea - something to cover with. Sea is to cover the mountain.

C. No doubt in his heart but believes

"and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place,"

Hebrews 11:17-19 (Amplified Bible)

11:17 By faith Abraham, when he was put to the test [while the testing of his faith was still in progress], had already brought Isaac for an offering; he who had gladly received and welcomed [God’s] promises was ready to sacrifice his only son,

11:18 Of whom it was said, Through Isaac shall your descendants be reckoned.

11:19 For he reasoned that God was able to raise [him] up even from among the dead. Indeed in the sense that Isaac was figuratively dead [potentially sacrificed], he did [actually] receive him back from the dead.

James 1:6 (Amplified Bible)

1:6 Only it must be in faith that he asks with no wavering (no hesitating, no doubting). For the one who wavers (hesitates, doubts) is like the billowing surge out at sea that is blown hither and thither and tossed by the wind.

Faith and doubt can't stay together. Either you have the one or hate the other. Those who have faith, "hates" unbelief or doubt.

Luke 16:13 (Amplified Bible)

16:13 No servant is able to serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will stand by and be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon (riches, or anything in which you trust and on which you rely).

Who is your master? faith or doubt? I would rather have faith as my master because it can move mountains to the sea.

D. It will be done for him

"it will be done for him."

Psalms 37:4 (Amplified Bible)

37:4 Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart.

John 14:13 (Amplified Bible)

14:13 And I will do [I Myself will grant] whatever you ask in My Name [as presenting all that I AM], so that the Father may be glorified and extolled in (through) the Son.

John 15:7 (Amplified Bible)

15:7 If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.

IX. CONCLUSION:

You removed obstacles in your life by your words.

Proverbs 18:21 (Amplified Bible)

18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life].

Matthew 12:37 (Amplified Bible)

12:37 For by your words you will be justified and acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned and sentenced.
