A. JESUS exercises gentleness and forbearance toward the ignorant and erring
"He is able to exercise gentleness and forbearance toward the ignorant and erring,"
Hebrews 2:18 (Amplified Bible)
2:18 For because He Himself [in His humanity] has suffered in being tempted (tested and tried), He is able [immediately] to run to the cry of (assist, relieve) those who are being tempted and tested and tried [and who therefore are being exposed to suffering].
Hebrews 4:15 (Amplified Bible)
4:15 For we do not have a High Priest Who is unable to understand and sympathize and have a shared feeling with our weaknesses and infirmities and liability to the assaults of temptation, but One Who has been tempted in every respect as we are, yet without sinning.
GOD is GOD of Love, and JESUS is Compassion Himself, full of compassion for the lost souls, even those with ignorant minds, but CHRIST healed them all.
B. JESUS is also liable to moral weakness and physical infirmity
"since he himself also is liable to moral weakness and physical infirmity."
Infirmity means "human weakness" or "human limitations". JESUS, the Almighty GOD, became human taking along it's human weakness and human limitations in Himself, but never able to commit sin for He's the Seed of the FATHER GOD. JESUS, in His human days, sticked with the FATHER in His relationship with Him by frequent prayer and fasting.
